With the help of local women I design, construct
and sew quilts, cushions, wallhangings etc. We always use natural
materials and much of them are hand dyed. Silks, linens and wool
are the most common materials as in all my work
I try to work within an ecological framework. The colours like the
most of my clothes range from rich oriental tones to the more muted
colours of the Scandinavian midnight sun. Some of the products are
for sale others for museum exhibitions.
