Wolf Tribes and Fugitives Breeding Program

Team Wolf Tribes driving children, Winter -96. Vicky and Holly in Lead, Trott as Wheeldog

I, with my Kennel Wolf Tribes, have had experience with Siberian Husky since 1981, and I have use this fantastic dog on Tours and Races. I also breed the dogs, for the sole purpose of getting the good Sled Dog it has been for over 3000 years.

Most of the stock came from kennel Fun Run which is one of the most qualified Racing kennels in Sweden, with both Siberian Husky an Alaskan Husky. I will Thank Maria Lindquist for her knowledge and the opportunity to bought the best dogs from her!

I have retired from Mushing 2000, but I have a partnership with my best dogs with another Swedish Musher Jenki Lindgren - Fugitive´s Kennel. Our breeding program remains to linebreed with the best Siberian strain and get a own line with stabiliy to produce the best Sleeddogs with so many good dogs in every litter as possible, so called "Click-Litters".
This Breding Program are based on a few special Dogs, who are chosed because their Sleddog quallity, their potential to produse Click-Litters and for their stabillity in Genes:

The basic Dogs are Snow Trails Cheyenne - Fun Run Ujo  - Finnemarkas Guy and Wolf Tribes Holly:

They gave extraordinary good Sleddogs who had the potential to produce Click-Litters! Fun Run Trott (he had an extraordinary good brother, Fun Run Tex, who also produced Click-Litters for Kennel Team Amarox) x Wolf Tribes Ronja, who was my best own breed leaddog ever, gave my a very special Click-Litter: Wolf Tribes Honnie Pie - Wolf Tribes Chips - Wolf Tribes Peanut and Wolf Tribes Wonna Bee.

Snow Trails Cheyenne: (Click on the name to view Pedegree).
Cheyenne was a offspring from Zeros Dargo and Igloo Paks Cheena. Ingvar de Forrest Imported this dogs from the best Mushers in America. Harris Dunlop, Kennel Zero and Doc Lombard, Kennel Igloo Pak. Both this Mushers where World Championship Masters Open Class and this pure Siberians where running in competition with mixed breeds and Alaskans, both in their Teams and in competition with Alaskans Teams on Races. By the way, Harris Dunlap choosed Cheyenne to the next best female at the SvSHK (Swedish Siberian Husky Club) show, when he was here -85 as a Judgeman!
Dargo x Cheena makes a Clic-Litter. Zeb became a very good Team dog for Ingvar (B-M Lindquist, Marias mother, bought him from Ingvar when he sold out) Nancy, Tracy, Molly, Jessie and Cheyenne became Leaddogs for the best Mushers in Sweden and Norway. Specially Cheyenne, who became Maria Lindquist best Siberian Husky Leader ever! Maria raced with Siberians from the eighties to the beginning of the nineties. She was always  in the top, even with competitions with cross and mixed breeds! Cheyenne and Guy was running in lead in Marias 4:th place 8 dog Team, Swedish Championship for Mixed Breeds - 93!
Now days Maria is racing with crossbred, but she and her mother´s Kennel Fun Run, still has effect up on the days Siberians in the Racing World.

Fun Run Ujo: (Click on the name to view Pedegree)
Maria Lindquists Team and Wheel dog in the late eighties and the beginning of the nineties. Ujo was breed from Pinto x Ärrä. This two dogs was some of Taina Terres best dogs. Taina and Maria where a Team pair in the middle to last of the eighties. They, and their dogs, was winning in Racing Competition both here in Sweden and also in Finland. They became 1:st and 2:nd in Finlands Campionchip-86, I think it was. You can bee shore that Cheyenne, Pinto, Ärrä and even Polar Speed Suikki (a dog I bought from Taina. Suikki is behind in the pedeege in my dogs) were in their Winning Teams.

Finnemarkas Guy: (Click on the name to view Pedegree)
This is Christen Rose Anderssens, Kennel Finnemarkas, own words about Guy:
"Guy show early that he was a very good sleeddog. Big eager, ALWAYS in good mood, extreme willines to run and attention on the Musher (very good leed quality). Roger  and Leila Leergaard had my (Christens) dogs under Guys two first years. The first year Guy was on Rogers Team, winter 86/87. Unluckly Guy got a broken front leg and he could not be used as a sleeddog for a couple of years because the broken leg was healing slowly. So Guy have no long meritlist to go on, but he was valued after his training quallities. Roger used Guy in breeding two times on his Vohrster bitch, Cindy (with a exrem result. Rogers hole Kennel are based up on this two dogs). What else I could tell about Guy? He is an easy learner. I could get him to do almost anything I asked him to. A very clever dog! Almost all of his quallitys are like his mother. Bodily was this dogs valued after functional qualitys... and never cosmetic." Reference  from Christen.

After Christen retired, Guy moved to Maria Lindquist. Guy was a key dog in her Team. In her Team, there was running both Siberians, Alaskans and even Vohrster. Two pure breed Siberians, Guy and Cheyenne, was running in lead for this mixed Team. Maria was in top of Racing in Sweden with her Team in the beginning of the nineties. When Maria decided to take a year of, I was very lucky to come over Guy. He was a booster in my team! Wolf Tribes Holly (Polar Speed Suikki x Onyx) and Guy lead in my Team. They ran like a Duracell battery. They just ran, and ran and ran!
Could You understand why all my dogs have Guy as father or grand father??? ;-) All of Jenki Lindgrens, 3:d place WSA WC-2008 unlimited Class, 14 dogs ( except 1) have Guy in their pedigree!

"Guy" was one of the Worlds most Qualified stud dogs in Sled Dog Competition. Famous Sled Dog Mushers like:
Roger Leergard, Alpirod Winner - Jan Svensson, Two times 8 dog class EM Winner and one Time VM Winner - Egil Ellis, Open class VM and EM Master. They all have "Guy" in the Pedigree of their Dogs. Guy are also one of the foundation dog in creating the Scandinavian Hound!

Wolf Tribes Holly: (Click on the name to view Pedegree)
Holly, Shadow and Fatso was a Litter after Polar Speed Suikki (Taina Terres Best MiddelDistans dog) x Onyx. Holly show early her Lead Quallities. I raced her (with mush caution) and her mother, Onyx, in lead on a WagonRace, when Holly only was 12 moth old. Yes, we placed in the top! She became later Sparringpartner in Lead at Finnemarkas Guy, they could take "Trail"even there it where no AND hold the Speed! Shadow was a crazy dog (almost as Wanna Bee, Hollys GrandChild)). He had a very strong and extrem willines to run. Fatso also became a fast and good Sleed dog (little to big, parhaps) and he and Shadow was a raidarpair in the Wheel posission on Races.

Vicky: (Click on the name to view Pedegree)
Vickys father was the famous Zeros Rue Hoe and her mother was Unisaks Flash. "Flashan" was a very fast and good mainleader for Dick Östlund Open Class Team in the late eithies. Flashan lead this Team to Victorys! I bought Vicky at the same time as Fun Run Trott from Maria Lindquist. Vicky her self was a small female who runs in lead, but sadly she never get up to Finnemarkas Guy or Wolf Tribes Hollys lead qualities. First Maria and then I run Vicky in many Races in the beginning to the middle of the nienthies. Vickys brother, Jehu, was sold to Patrik Kuru, and was a very good sleeddog. Jehu became stud dog for Patriks Kennel Snöexpressens, and Pär Ångströms Kennel Steam Streamers. Jehu are behind many good dogs here in Sweden and even in Europ.

Wolf Tribes Butter and Wolf Tribes Kloker: (Click on the name to view Pedegree)
The Litter Finnemarkas Guy x Vicky gave me very good Sleddogs. But that was expected. 3 times Zeros Rue Hoe in the pedegree! Christen-Rose Anderseen, Kennel Finnemarkas (Norway) Imported this Dog from Harris Dunlap, Kennel Zero. Rue Hoe was a very good sleddog and Cristen was always in top with his Team. Wolf Tribes Butter, Blyger , Toker and Glader was in my Racing Team. Wolf Tribes Kloker was sold to Jenki Lindgren, Kennel Fugitives. Kloker was a very good leader and is one of Jenkis basic breeding dogs. Wolf Tribes Butter have almost the same lead quallities as Kloker, but I think Butter is little bit faster. Jenki also borrowed Butter from me, when I retired and he have used him in Races. Wolf Tribes Trötter gave I to Maria Lindquist as Thanks for all help and good (The Best!) dogs I bought from her.

Fun Run Trott: (Click on the name to view Pedegree)
Trott was the last dog from this Litter Maria Lindquist had left after hard selection in her Mixed Team. That say alot of Trotts Sleddog Quallities! He and Vicky, who I bought at the same time from Maria, did wounder in my Team. Winter - 93 was a winning seasion wiht him in my Team!... His brother, Fun Run Tex, was sold to a Adventure, Turist Musher. Sadly Tex got a broken Leg and even a "brad" to hold the leg in possision. Team Amarox, Pia Ångström (and Ola Olofsson) bought him and that was a good move! It is a wounder that Tex could run as hi did fror Team Amarox and Lead them to Vicktorys!

Wolf Tribes Ronja: (Click on the name to view Pedegree)
This Litter (Guy x Holly) was extrem body built. All of them was very light booned. Ronja became my MainLeader, with almost the same Lead quallities as her father, Guy. Ricco was a very fast and good Point-Team dog in my Racing Team. Reno was sold to a Skijorer and he, with a good Skijorer to pull over 5 Swedish mil, placed in top here in Sweden in that type of Racing. Raja was very extrem light booned with energi. Unlyckily did I sold this little Lady to a family who only used her on tours, so Raja was never tested in Races. Dam SAD!

Wolf Tribes Wanna Bee: - Wolf Tribes HonneyPie - Wolf Tribes Peanut - Wolf Tribes Chips and Wolf Tribes Banana:
Trott x Ronja gave me a Click-Litter! Peanut became a Key dog in Jenki Lindgrens Team. He also bought Chips from me, but sadly Chips died in young years. He also was a Keydog on that Team. Honnie became a good Leaddog and was running besides her mother Ronja in my Team. They was my MainLeaders on Races the last year a I was in Competition! Wanna Bee was  totaly Crazy as a Team-Wheel dog!!! I have never seen so mush willines to run and, belive me, I have seen mutch. I think anybody who known Wonna Bee agrees with me. When I retired Jenki borrowed both HonniePie and Wanna Bee from me, and he used them in Races, with good Results! Banana became a good Sleeddog, but I only used him as a Turist dog because he was a little bit for big to run in my fast Racing Team.

And now, finally, after this thorough and worhtwhile briefing among some of the best Racing Siberian Husky and their Storie here in Scandinavia, we are at Jenki Lingrens, Kennel Fugitives, Era!

Tshabets Nail:
Jenki Lindgrens Imported Sperm (Zero x Igloo Pak cross). Nail was running in the open class sprint, with some of his littes mates. Point to Wheel dog.

Wolf Tribes Peanut:(Click on the name to view Pedegree)
Jenki Lingrens own words about Peanut:
Peanut is one of the fastest dog that I ever had. She has been runing in lead since she was 15 month old. All the years she has always been in my team, she has been runing from four dog-team to open class-team. And have never missed a training or a race. She even run in my team at the races when she was ten years old, and is still runing in my training-team without problems.

Wolf Tribes Kloker (Schneider):(Click on the name to view Pedegree)
Jenki Lingrens own words about Kloker (Schnaider):
Schneider has been runing in single lead since he was eight month of age. Extremly tough mind in the team. Absolut the best lead dog that I ever had. Without him I would not have any lead dogs today. He is the one who taught all my other lead dogs. Have never missed a turn, it did not matter if there was a road or not.

Fugitives Vanja: Vanja ran in lead for Jenki under five years. She had nine litter mates, six of them are lead-dogs. The one that were sold to another country, and has been used many times in breeding.

Team Amarox Frej: (Click on the name to view Pedegree)
Jenki borrwed him under two seasons. Very nice and happy dog. He ran as a team or wheel dog. Extremly hard working dog and he gave the power that was needed in the Team

Fugitives Vineyard: Extremly happy dog and very fast. He gives the power that need in the team and he has been runing in Jenkis racing-team since 18 monts of age. With Vinyard in the Team, it been certain that the Team got home again.

Fugitives Smella: MainLeader on WSA World Championship-2008! Sisters Pärlan and Erotica: Click-Litter, all 3 of them are runing in lead.
Fugitives Zeppo: Click-Litter! Alko - Angel - Nubbe - Rob and Zeppo was in the Team at WSA World Championship-2008! Zeppo runs in lead, like three of his litter mates Angel, Rob and Cicci.

Fugitives Riven: Click-Litter! Myran - Tufs - Winx and Riven was in the Team at  WSA World Championship-2008! Riven are the only male in this litter. Winx and Myran runs in lead. Their sister, Bloom, runs in Matti Holmgren's long distans-team.

As you can see, this breeding program just seems already to have effect in the Racing Results (Jenki Lindgrens 3:rd place at WSA World Championship Opendog class-08, Swedish Siberian Husky 8-dog class Master -09).
One "line" is  Wolf Tribes Peanut x Fugitives Zeppo ( Fugitives Vineyard x Wolf Tribes HonniePie), with a exellent Result (all dogs in that Litter was on WSA WC!). From this litter, Fugitives Riven was breed to Fugitives Smella  (Team Amarox Frej x Wolf Tribes Peanut. We first tried to breed Smella with Wolf Tribes WannaBee to have a maximum result. But he was sadly to old to give any offsprings). We hope, If this goes Right, this litter should be a dreamlitter and, with this linbreeding, have a "Direct Explosive Effect" in the Genes.

This Dreamlitter will be insiminate with sperm from
Zeros Houston

And from the first Dreamlitter (Peanuts x Zeppo) Fugitives Winx was inbreeding with sperm from
Finnemarkas Guy! (Link to the pedigree)
