GENERAL RULES SWIMMING ====================== European Masters Swimming Championships will be held in 50m outdoor pool, 8 lanes with OMEGA time keeping electronic system. There shall be no finals in all events. Competitors may enter a maximum of FIVE individual events, but no more than TWO events each day. BJÖRN !! -- No false start rule will be adopted. Overhead start will be used in all events except relays. Deck Seeding: For 400m and 800m freestyle competitors have to confirm their start latest at 18.00 on the day PRIOR the competition and deckseeding will be used, with the oldest age group first and slower heats swum first within each age group. If it is impossible to check in for this events in person this may done by fax 0042 - 02 - 20513278 but again by 18.00 latest on the day PRIOR to the event. Reporting: It is the responsibility of each swimmer to report to the clerk of the course at least 15 minutes prior to their designated rates at the designated place at the pool. Entry times: Entry times will be determined for events of 200m, 400m and 800m. If a competitor finish his event not within the entry time, he will be placed WITHOUT time and ranking in the result sheet. The entry fees 15 Swiss Francs per event shall be paid by bank draft to: KOMERCNÍ BANKA - Praha 10 Account number: 20001 - 184 36 - 101 / 0100 Name of the event: "ME 1997 Masters" Entries without documentation of payment of the entry fees can not be accepted (photostat of payment to be attached). There shall be no refund of entry fees. Confirmation of entries will be sent to the Competitor's national Federation following receipt and verification of entries. ACCREDITATION PROCEDURES ======================== All Competiors must obtain an Accreditation Card which will be required for entry to the pool and official venues. Each Competitor must forward, together with the Entry Form, two photos (size standard passport format) one for the Accreditation Card, another for the entry form. Each Competitor may collect his/her Accreditation Card from September 1, 1997 at the Accreditation Center at the Swimming Stadium Praha - Podolí upon presentation of a proof of identity. Accreditation Center will be open from September 1, 1997 at 10.00 PM.
