Swedish På svenska, tack

Gustav på Hans axlar

On the adjacent picture you can see me together with my son Gustav, born in March 1997. The picture was taken in the summer of 1999 in our garden in Gothenburg. I live there together with Gustav and Gustav's mother Eva.

I was born in 1966 in Boden, a small town in the north of Sweden, where I lived until I was 18 years old. After my military service I ended up in Gothenburg, where I studied electrical engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. This eventually led to my current position as senior design engineer at the audio and communication systems department at Volvo Car Corporation. Among many things, I've had the pleasure to work with the Dolby Surround system in the Volvo C70. In Volvo Technology Report 2/97 I have written an article about this titled "Volvo C70 first with Dolby Surround".

My great interest is, not surprisingly, audio, which has manifested itself in a lot of homemade loudspeakers over the years. However, since Gustav came, this interest has been put on hold a little. Instead, there are more family oriented activities such as spending time with friends with and without children and small trips to child-friendly places like Burger King, IKEA and The world of Astrid Lindgren. Going to the cinema has also been replaced by rental videos.
