Mother Goose is a private, non-profit organisation
which allows extensive possibilities to develop both linguistic abilities
and multicultural understanding.
We work according to the play & learn method in two groups;
3-4 year-olds and 5-7 year-olds, in which the children have four hours
of tutoring daily. the headtechers have over 20 years of experience.
Mother Goose Play & Learn aims at supporting the childs total
development;
Physical, emotional, social, cultural, linguistic and intellectual.
Mother Goose recognises play as a childs natural way of coping
with experiences and as a source of development and learning.
Our goal is to create democracy, equality, safety and responsibility,
and they are also the principles to which we constantly adhere.
Our medium of communication is English.
Through continuous and well planned activities we create a warm
and trustful atmosphere where both the children and the adults enjoy and
promote good interaction.
We teach the children to be considerate of others and encourage
them to make new friends and at the same time process both cognitive and
emotional experiences and independence.
We are comitted to a child-centred, internationalised version
of the Swedish National Curriculum for pre-schools that addresses the needs
of international students, and in order for the parents to check on their
child's progress, the children receive reports.
The subjects we teach at Mother Goose International Pre-school
are language arts, mathematics, social studies, art, music and physical
education.
Through the children's daily activities, we open the door to
the world of music, song and dance.
Mother Goose is open Monday-Friday 8.00-16.30.
Our tuition fee is 7983kr/ month without the county subvention
and 2.700kr/ month with the county subvention for the Stockholm children.
The fee for the children from other counties depends on the amount
of their county subvention.
The one-time, non-refundable fee upon initial application to
the school is 200kr.
