The lyrics to "Like they were demons"
CHOKE ME
Why do I care to hope? Why do I think at all? When you're already choking me, why
don't you choke me until I die? Cause the day you murdered my dreams you killed my soul.
Of course you've tried to make me believe that this is what I want so why try to make you
understand. Why do I care to hope? Why do I think at all when you've already decided
what's right and wrong, suitable or not? Choke me!
EXPECTATIONS
Now I'm standing here. The time I've feared has come. Turning in all directions.
All paths leading forward. My retreat is intercepted. Attack is the only act that counts.
Cause there's a war going on along every path and I'm a soldier and so are you. They told
me that at the end of my future will wait. But the more I look the less I see. Invisible
hands of expectations are pushing me forward. So many ears (are) waiting to hear my
decision.
BUY THE LIE
Fronts painted in pretty colors. Smiling faces everywhere. A made up illusion to
fool our eyes. In the name of truth we swing our sledges made of curiosity and our minds
filled with suspicion. We smash the wall so we can see the side where the sun never
shines. The dark reality, the colonies of modern society. Imperialized, exploited and
corrupted, but with deep, deep pockets power loves to be your friend. 'Cause money can buy
everything, even silence and denial. On our side soothing music lulls us into a false
sense of trust. The tunes drown the true soundtrack of their disrespect. In the end we're
the ones who puts another bullet in the barrel, another brick in the wall. We simply buy
the lie.
FORCED INTO
My well thought ideology isn't longer a fact for me. Your conviction grabbed my
view that I've always been able to hide. My painful retrospect has made me realize their
hypocrisy. Corruption and oppression is their concept.
