Aurora is also interesting to look at. In Scandinavy we have Aurora very often. Where I live, in Håstång, we are not so use to see it but it has been visible here and even down to North Germany but very seldom of course.

It is also possible to reflect radiosignals at 144 Mhz and higher with help of Aurora. It is easy to make radiocontacts to a lot of countries in Europe but one must point the antenna to the North.

The reflectionspoint can vary around 270 West-70 North degree but if one hear a signal from Neederlands don't turn your antenna in that direction,,,,the signals will disappear... I know...!!!

We have fun here too!!! The signals sound distorted but listen to a cw signal is no problem ( cw =continuly way...more known as morse...).

It can also be useful for SSB ( SSB=single side band) sometimes.
