I am James Comstock, born in 1953 in Los Angeles, California.  During the late '70's,
I worked as an animator.  We made children's films for television.  During the early '80's,
I made some short animated films of my own, like "I Like to Read while I'm Driving.''
In 1984, I came to Stockholm, Sweden on a one-way ticket.  I found work here on a
Swedish animated feature film.  I met Cecilia.

In 1986, my son Lee was born in Stockholm, where we still live today.  In August, 1998,
we began our first web project, "JimoLee's Place," and this is it.  Our purpose with this
site is to learn how to use these tools (the computer, html, etc.), and at the same time,
to create something fun together which, hopefully, others may enjoy.

So far, Lee has done almost all of the creative work; ideas, images and animations are
almost entirely his.  I function as an editor-publisher; I write the final english text with
his help, I make suggestions and do most of the tedious page building and publishing.

We will continue to explore new possibilities and we plan to offer new surprises with
every monthly update. We are anxious to get as many visitors as possible, so please send
