Eastern Conference - Time to Win!!

The Eastern Conference has during LML's first two years ben the underdog to the West. Actually they have been the underdogs to the Colorado Avalanche more then anything. West has two championships under their belts while East none. However, not everything has been bleak for the eastern Conference during these two years.

Two All-Star tournaments have been played and both times East has won. In the first year East defeated West straight up. In year two, both divisions from East, NorthEast and Atlantic, went to the final making a mockery out of the evil West. NorthEast won and Atlantic finished second. This shows more then anything that talent is in the East and all that the West has is one team: Avalanche. This year it's time for the East to take the championship to where it belongs: Eastern Seaboard!

I think every GM in the East agrees that it really doesn't matter whether the winner is New Jersey, Washington, Philadelphia, Toronto or the reignings Eastern Champions Boston that wins as long as any team from East wins. This great spirit of togetherness was what filled the conference room in New York where the GM's of the Eastern teams had a gathering, trying to figure out a gameplan to debunk the Western dominance. Only real drwaback of that peaceful and beautiful ceremony in New York was the fist fight between the reporters from Carolina and Philadelphia...

Agreed on the meeting was that no longer will the teams from West be able to rip teams from east of. Avs, Canucks and Ducks are no longer welcome in the East. They can rip them selves of or their so called fellow General Meangers in West.

With the joining of Toronto in East, which they are very welcome to, East has the following divisional build:

NortEast: Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, Carolina Hurricane, Buffallo Sabres, Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators

Atlantic: New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Washington Capitals
