Welcome to WAHLTRÄ AB:s homepage. WahlTrä AB was established 1984 by Per-Arne Wahlberg. Our sawmill is specialized in sawing and working up hardwood, specially Birch. The sawmill i located 50 km North East Jönköping in south Sweden. The sawmill is built with one integraled Bandsaw for sawing thick logs +400 mm and tree cirkellines for normal logs 150 mm+, and one big multisaw for fresh and dryed wood, and for working up strips, for exempel 26x52 mm. Our capacity will be 15000 m3fub in one shift. We buy logs from south Svealand, Götaland Russia and the Baltic countrys. By us You can find planks and boarders sawn through and through or in square size without wane in dimensions You like and in right quality. Fresh sawn, airdryed 18-20%, or kilndryed 8-10% and worked up to stripes or materials in exact lenght. Our speciality is Birch, but we normaly have Red Alder, Ash, Elm Oak and some other hardwood.
