Here's the sad story about the poor band..
Well...long ago ( 1994 ), there was a
floorball team called 'StarHouse'Bandy
( in Malmö ). Every one in the team
were living somewhere in the 'StarHouses'.
One day Henke and gustAv got tired of playing
bandy, so we started to play the guitar instead.
It didn't took long before gustAv changed the
guitar to the bass.
And at the end of summer -98 we decided to
start a band. So we took another player from
the now nonexisting 'StarHouse'Bandy, Calleman.
We decided to play some cind of "sk8-metall", a
sick combination, but it worked...for us.
Later on we changed it to "bastu-punk".
We reherseld down in TYLö-bastu (the only place
we could find for free) from the beginning.
Thats what the text in TYLÖ-bastu is all about.
In the beginning of -99, Peter Forsberg joined
the band as a second guitar player.
He quit playing in April, of different couses.
Our first (competition) concert was at 'Kaj
Plats 305' , March 11th ( S.O.B. won ! ).
Our second gig was at Malmö Borgar Skola,
June 8th. It went pretty good.
In August '99 gustAv left the band to go
studie in Minnesota, U.S.A. for a year. And
Calleman didn't wanted to play the drums any
more...so that was the end of Ironic Maiden.
So thanks guys for a great time!
We'll be back, cuz this aint the end!
