Project Work. Write an independent 800-word essay in which you deal with a topic connected to the culture of English-speaking countries. It is advisable that you compare the countries in question.
a) Approximately 15 texts from a course book. (Windows, Springboard, Progress,
Project X,
Food for Thought etc.) At Least eight of these texts should be read intensively,
i.e. you
should master the contents and words of the texts.
b) You should read Go Ask Alice (Anonymous) or The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole
(Sue
Townsend) and two other novels of your own choice. In total at least three
novels.
The first ten pages of each novel are to be read intensively.
c) During the exam you will be given a newspaper text which will be discussed
after a
short period of preparation.
