    Notes

    - Planning due to changes on short notice.
    - Make sure you always bring relevant material. If you are going
to play football, you bring a ball. If you attend an English
class you bring…well use your brain! If you fail to obey this
simple rule I have no wish to see your face in the classroom.
    - Be in time!
    - English is the only language spoken in our classes!
    - Make sure you have a good English-English dictionary at home,
and, preferably, at school. - If you are absent from a class, make sure you contact a member
of the group in order to keep up with the school work.
That is your responsibility, not mine!
    - If you cannot be present in classes which depend on your active
participation (GSPD & book report), you must contact me as soon
as possible! Call 768 90 77 or, if it is an emergency, 32 92 57!
    - Bold type text indicates homework.
    - The tests will cover all the texts, grammar and other activities
we have had in class. Study the checklist! If you are unable
to come to a test, contact me before the test!
Otherwise, you will not be given the opportunity to do the test at
another occasion. - Book reports: You only come at the time appointed. Be in time!
Choose a book you like - not because it is short! The oral report
will be held together with a few other students from your group,
not in front of the whole class. You should be able to freely tell us
about the book without any written support. When you are not doing the
book report you are supposed to work with your...
    - GSPD:s: Your trio should present an interesting topic, or rather, problem
interestingly and lead a discussion with the group - questions on
whiteboard required. Do not read aloud from a piece of paper!
    Total time 15-20 minutes.
    - W2= Windows 2, EGC= English Grammar Check, GSPD= Group Subject Presentation Discussion.
    - In case of uncertainty, contact me! Trust no rumors!
    - English will forever be your favourite subject.
    - Watching is not the same as doing.
    - Listen to Bach every day.

REMEMBER: TEACHING AND LEARNING ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A SILLY QUESTION. THE ONLY THING REALLY SILLY IS NOT TO ASK! FEED YOUR BRAIN WITH THE FOOD OF LIFE : LAN GU AG ES

    Your humble teacher
