With a screenplay written by Edward D. Wood Jr. In what could only be described as á moment of weakness´, the Bride And The Beast, or Queen of the Gorillas as it was orginally titled, is an (unintentionally) hilarious romp through wedded bliss (lessness), and horny gorilla nonsense.

Big-game hunters Dan, and his angora sweater fetishist newlywed bride Laura, are honeymoning in the depths of the jungle. On their wedding night Dan´s pet gorilla, who hangs out in the basement, gets a bit too fresh and fruity with Laura, leaving Dan with no reasonable alternative but to shoot him!

Following the gorillas untimely demise, Laura becomes strangely disturbed, and on visiting a local hypnotist(!) discovers that she is actually the reincarnation of a gorilla.

With the doctor having declared Laura completely cured, Dan whisks her away on safari, where he is immediateky wounded by a tiger while she is kidnapped by a gigant gorilla who bundles her back to his cave for a spot of rest and relaxation.

On discovering that his wayward missus would rather stay with her new found chums in the jungle than return home with him, Dan heads off into the sunset confused, bewildered and beaten by a better man (eather).

This film is perhaps the least seen of Edward D. Wood Jr´s creative efforts, and all things considered, that is probably not such a bad thing!
