Why should they be you may ask yourself, here I have some hard evidences of that

*Just look at the left picture above, Boris is holding an extra terrestrial object in his hands probably trying to communicate with his relatives.

In the middle and on the right you have certain similarities. The center picture is an alien killed by the Swedish police in 1987 as a suspect for the assassination of Olof Palme. To the right you have the same man/alien as a baby on one the very first of Yellos albums.

You may say shit happens but there are other proof of what I am saying!

*How could someone write so heavenly music if they wherenīt from space?

*The title of their latest album Pocket Universe means that to Yello (Boris and Dieter) space is so small itīs comparable to a pocket.

*One of their songs is called "Of course Iīm lying" which is referring to the lie about their origin

Might this be a case for agent Scully and Mulder??
