About the Band
the kung-fu groove orchestra was formed during the winter of 1997, then consisting of only three band members ( Daniel Wennlund - Bass, Mattias Schönning - Lead Guitar, and Henrik Börjesson - Guitar ). Now the line-up has extended rather drastically to:
-Sharon Lind - Vocals
-Mattias Schönning - Lead Guitar, Keyboards
-Henrik Börjesson - Guitar, Keyboards
-Daniel Wennlund - Bass
-Henrik Hägglund - Drums
-Erik Norell - Trombone
-Tobias - Trumpet
Their musical influences come from such bands as the James Taylor Quartet, the Brand New Heavies, and the Meters.
The band does not currently have any gigs, or as we like to put it: is resting ( See
concert dates ). But when they do, I suggest you go see them whenever you get a chance, and I guarantee that they'll exceed all your expectations.
