After Redding, we got up to Mount Lassen. There was still some snow, and we didn't go for the peak. Others did. Many trails were in fact still closed.

Olle and Björn, wearing shorts and sandals. That doesn't seem right in the snowy surrounding, but it was in fact not cold. The snow was melting rapidly.

The Emerald Lake, covered by ice, had a very special colour.
