My favourite authors:

David Brin

Those of you who has read the uplift trilogy knows why I rate him no 1. Brin is one of few sci-fi authors who really succeeds in describing an alien lifeform. The Jophur species are truly magnificient!

Arthur C. Clarke

His latest work are not very good, maybe he is getting old (he is 70 something, I think). His best known work are the 2001 trilogy (now sadly a forth book, not good at all). He was, until I discovered Brin, the finest alien-describing author out there, check out Randevouz With Rama, or the sequels; Rama II, Rama Revealed, Garden of Rama.

• 2001 (outstanding!)
• Aliens (Excellent creatures, those aliens)
• Starwars (the trilogy)

Next month (November) is a great movie month for us die-hard Sci-Fi lovers, because two major Sci-Fi-movies will come to the big screen; "Aliens 4" and "Contact". I can't wait!!!
