TSRE Course Program
TSRE 1 - Executive Safety Course
A short and comprehensive course in the
basics of crash safety for executives and upper management. The problem,
countermeasures, terminology, safety engineering, crash testing and rating
are topics that will be described. The importance of relevance in the decision
making process related to safety issues will be focused.
After completion of this course, decision makers will have a better understanding
of the safety issues and a better platform for making the correct decisions.
The course will take six hours or could be tailored to customer demands.
TSRE 2 - Crash Safety Engineering Course
This course will give an introduction into
the history of safety research and the basics of impact biomechanics. It
will describe the tools that a safety engineer must understand and be able
to use in order to be competitive. Safety engineering techniques, from the
car body to the seat belt, will be described. The aspects of product liability
will also be briefly described. This course is tailored for engineers with
some experience in design and engineering in the automotive industry working
in areas related to safety. Course time is one and a half day or approx.
12 hours.
TSRE 3 - General Course in Crash Safety
Working its way through the history of automobile
and safety research up to today's sophisticated safety technology this course
gives insight in the epidemiology, traffic injuries and coding, anatomy
of the human body, biomechanics, test dummies, the physics of crashes, test
methods, analytical tools, safety terminology and safety engineering of
car bodies, seat belts, air bags etc.
Newly employed engineers as well as experienced engineers will benefit from
this course. Fresh engineers will be able to quickly get up in working speed
and know how to find information after the completion of this course. Experienced
engineers will broaden their knowledge and be updated. Course time 3 days
or approx. 24 hours.
A number of additional courses
in experimental statistics, population at risk
analysis, optimal safety engineering are being planned. If you have an interest
in such courses please let us know.
All courses could be held on customer location if preferable. The language
will be Swedish or English. Copies of displayed TSRE produced material,
OH:s etc, will be given to the participants. References to other relevant
