There are a lot of mods out there that are not unique enough to warrant the Quake Community's attention. DeathMatch eXtreme: Platinum is not in that category. I have played this DM Mod exstensively, and think it is worth the time it'll take to download it. After this project is completed and released, Omega plans some interesting varations on single player games, as well as some future projects using other Quake engine games. To say the least, it will be a progression to further excellence.

Future vs Fantasy is the most inclusive of all Quake modifications. FvF completely works in Single Player, Deathmatch, Purge, and Quest. FvF's Purge is a fully developed playing mode that is comparable to other teamplay, goal-oriented modifications. This is the full install which can be updated, in the future, with small update patches. This contains the primary pack file (all the current models and weapons).

This I've been waiting for so long and now it's finally here. YPOD is a conversion for all you Doomers out there. YPOD, I think is a perfect example of good artists doing so much work just for fun/free, I can't really imagine how much work that was put down to make this TC. YPOD contains 17 single player maps and are from all the Doom games released, there are some DM maps as well. At first I thought this TC was done for Winquake only, but then I remembered some screenshots were taken on the GL Quake. If you experience some difficulties with YPOD and GL Quake just remove the meshed files in your id directory. You should really download this one, this is so nice.

Zerstörer is quite some Quake Tc/add-on. With new sounds, textures and maps this mod simply rules! The gameplay is what Quake should have been from the beginning with cutscenes between the levels and a really good story. Zerstörer includes 8 new single player maps as well as 5 new deathmatch levels. Just as fun in singleplayer as deathmatch. This is considered a "must download"...
