    [Fig. 245] Continue to slowly circle out to the sides and downwards, breathing out. You have now completed one repetition. Repetitions: as in exercise 1.
  [Fig. 244] (Circle outwards) Begin as in fig. 220. Slowly circle your hands, palms facing your body, inwards and upwards, above your head, breathing in.  

 

If possible, practise every day, preferably before the tai chi solo form. Remember to leave at least one hour before cating and any exercise. Do not try to control your breathing: perform the exercise at the speed which feels comfortable to you. Do not try to fill your lungs to capacity: allow your breathing to find its own depth.
