Stars! is a space-strategy game, you play with a race that can be customized to fit your own needs. The various goals in the game can be altered so it can vary from game to game.

Some goals are to own a specified amount of planets, to have a specified amount of points, to have a specified amount of warships and so on.

This game can be played by up to 16 players, it's playable in intranet, hotseat and e-mail.

To make the game more exciting random events happens such as comets crashing into one of your planets, wormholes appear wich leads you somewhere else in the galaxy, mystery traders appears and other events.

I'm going to cover a little about the mystery traders and what they offer in exchange for minerals. To get something from the mystery trader a player have to rendevous the mystery traders ship with cargoships holding at least 5000kT of minerals. The player never knows what he gets, but it's worth the cost anyway because some of the stuff one can get from the mystery trader is quite useful.
