Here you'll find some pictures of my running friends!!!

Sorry folks! The man to the left is NOT Lawrence of Arabia! It's just a picture of IFK Umeås marathoner (2.38 in Stockholm 1995) Fredrik Johansson. Fredrik sometimes goes by the nickname "Freddy Carpenter".

This is a picture of IFK Umeå winning the second leg of Vindelälvsloppet in 1996. The runners are (from the left) : Hans Nilsson, Tomas Björklund, Kristoffer Österlund, Michael Björklund and Robert Renman

This is Niclas Sandström after a long run with IFK Umeå. "Nicke" is better known as IFK Umeås own Mr Wet T-shirt. Niclas isn't just a runner in IFK, he is also managing director for the long distance runners.

"Those were the days my friend...." This picture was taken in 1988 in Acoteias in Portugal. The "young guns" are (from the left): Hans Nilsson, Jörgen Marklund, Michael Björklund and Fredrik Johansson.

Here we have Kristoffer Österlund running Vindelälvsloppet in 1997. Kristoffer is for once running in his shorts.... "For once? you may ask. Well... "Chris" most brilliant run ever was when he ran in the relay run "Finland West Coast Race" in the early 90's. In this race Kristoffer forgot to put on his running shorts so he had to run one leg in his yellow underwears!!! I have never laughed as much as I did then!!!
