Hello and welcome to my own personal
homepage. My name is
Kristian
Medin an I study at the
University of Borås.
For those of my visitors who are interested
in my list of
qualifications,
please have a look.
So, who am I? Well, as I said
earlier, I am 25 years
old and live in a midsize town in Sweden called Varberg.
I have a girlfriend and we live together in
an apart-
ment in the center of Varberg. In Varberg you say?We
thought you studied in Borås!?
Well, I do, but I commute from Varberg to
Borås
every day. A lot of people might think that´s tire-
some but I don´t.
I could tell you the story of my
life, but I won´t. I´ll just tell you the
short one about my life as an adult.
Well, when I graduated from
Pederskrivareskola in -92 I was so tired of
school so I started to work at the S-E-bank here in Varberg, for
the
summer, as a bankclerk. When the summer was over I was employed
by a
company called Hevas making tubes and replacement parts for the
automobilindustry.
I was working there for approximately two
years, with a little break,
when I came on as a substitute, again at the S-E-bank in Varberg.
In the beginning of 1995 my girlfriend and I
went to Thailand, my
girlfriends native country.

We traveled there for 5 weeks, visiting her
grandma and grandpa
who lives in Mae Sot, a midsize town near the Burmesian border.
We also visited Chiangmai, the capital of northern Thailand. Koh
Samui
and Phuket in the southern parts of the country, which we also
visited, were
very beautiful places. The sea was azure. Shortly, it was the
best
trip of my life.
After five weeks it was time to say good-bye
to my girlfriend, as
I went on to Australia and New Zealand for one and a half month.
She, on the other hand had to go home to Sweden to work.
In Australia I met up with a friend of mine
from school. We
traveled all around the continent in just one month, visiting
cities like Surfers Paradise, Cairns, Darwin and Alice Springs.
We went on safaris in the national park of Kakadu. We also went
diving in the Great Barrier Reef and climbed the big Ayers Rock.
The
Australian flag
I have never had such a great time as I had
in Australia, it
is a beautiful country and I hope that I one day can return
there with my girlfriend.
When it was half a month left off my trip, I
left my friend and
went to New Zealand.

My second cousin lived in Auckland with her
boyfriend at
the time, so I lived there during my stay. I had limited my
traveling to the northern island due to a lack of time.
I traveled by bus around the Northern island
and it was so
beautiful. Everything was just great except for the weather,
it was cloudy and sometimes it would rain, but hey, who was
I to complain, I had a wonderful time.
Well, now it was time me to go back home to
Sweden and my
girlfriend. I had a wonderful time traveling around the world,
but now I missed my girlfriend, mom, dad, my brothers and
friends back home.
If you don't mind waiting and like beautiful
scenery, you can
have a look atthe pictures from my stay either in
Australia or New Zealand.
In the autumn of 1995 I began studying
Computerscience
and Business Administration at the university of Borås, and
I have been studying there for three years now.
I am going to New Zealand (again) to study
in July, and if you are
patient enough, I will tell you more about it some other day and
in some other update of my homepage.
