When I came here , I couldnīt understand Swedish, so I started a course called SFI a local course in Botkyrka. I met many people who come form different countries there, and we tried to speak Swedish with each other. I still remember when we began to speak Swedish , it was so difficult for us but after a few months we could speak a little Swedish, anyway. I stayed there two terms.

Now I have started a new term at Komvux Syd. I chose this school because there are different courses here. I have chosen an English course,a Swedish course and a computer course. It īs so difficult to learn two foreign languages at same time.

So I have to use a lot of time to learn them, but I like to do that. Iīm very pleased because two months ago I didnīt know anything , but now I can write this homework in English. The teachers here are very lovely and friendly, they usually help all the students.

In my spare time, I usually watch TV, Iīve got a Chinese channel at home, so I know what happen in China immediately. I meet my friends, listen to music , do the shopping, but I seldom go to the cinema.

I think that it will take me a few years to study English or Swedish, after this, I want to find a job in Sweden.

I hope that we could take more times to speak English in the classroom. Sometimes we donīt know what is wrong when we do something ourselves.

How did you work, asked my teather? Yes ,when I started this work, I first thought in Chinese

Then I wrote it in English. I used Pass Word 1 and Pass Word 2. I found almost every word in the books. I used a dictionary as well. When I finished this work my husband helped me to check it and

my teather checked it too.

Before I didnīt like English, because it was so different to Chinese. But now I think that English is a very important language and the English course here is very good. I like to study here and Iīm sure that I can study my English well here.
