Now you maybe wonder, what is linux? Well take a look here and I'll try to explain it.

Where can you get linux?
Well, there are several ways of getting linux.

1. You can download it from the internet, this is not to recommend for you who sits on a 56K modem as most distrubutions are on between 600-650MB.

2. You can buy it from the various companies that are making distrubutions, the big advantage here is that you willl get the documentation along with it in a nice book.

3. Several internet stores also sell the variuos Linux distrubutions, with or with out doc's.

4. Alot of PC magazines have started to add Linux to some of their Cd's, this is the prolly the cheapest way of getting a Linux dist. Magazines Cost's about 5-8 US$.
