Two things...: October 27, 1998 |
This time I'll talk about two seperate things: neglected homepages and a vision of the future of Amiga Quake. |
| I've come to understand why certain homepages suddenly fall into decay: lack of time. I myself haven't got the time it takes to update the site as frequently as it should be. My studies and other projects consume huge amounts of my time and I'm not going to be able to update the site more than one or two times a month in the future, especially as another web project is being planned. Did I mention it'll create A LOT more feedback than this site has done? This is not the end of AQM or the AQM site - it just means that you shouldn't expect me to put time into the site when I can't even put it into playing Quake! |
| Leaving the hard part behind I'd like to share my vision of a future Amiga Quake. It's really a very simple equation. BlizzardPPC + BVisionPPC + WarpUP + Warp3D = a darn fast HiRes Quake. With Warp3D, clickBOOM or an "independant coder" can let Quake make good use of the Permedia2 chip which will result in a VERY nice boost... |
