| They say that the dog is mans best friend and althougth I prefer a fully loaded Super Nail Gun, Cujo the dog tries to make that old saying true in Quake. Being primarily made for helping the player getting through the single player levels alive, Cujo can also be used for deathmatches. Imagine having a large, fierce dog putting its jaws in your enemies 'lower parts'. As said, Cujos main purpose is to help the player and he does that very well by engaging in close combat. This has the additional effect of presenting Cujo as a more immidiate target, taking away a lot of fire meant for the player. In addition to the killer-dog Cujo, a number of weapons has been included in this mod. The Blaze Gun, for example, fires deadly fireballs that may set the target on fire upon impact. Another weapon is a low-energy blaster similar to the ones carried by enforcers and from Doom comes the Plasma Gun and the BFG. The Grappling Hook has also found its way into this enjoyable quake modification. |
