The longest 112 kBit/s file is 18 seconds long and the longest 56 kBit/s is 39 seconds, just to let you hear what the
songs sound like. If The Inc. should rip of the CD it would not be supporting weezer and that is what The Weezer Inc. want's to do!
The purpose of these files are to let you hear what songs sound like before you buy them, nothing else.

Do you know what .mp3 files are?! Well I hope so. For you who don't know it's a very compressed sound filetype. It compresses a wave file 12 times
without losing any sound quality! The quality gets even better! It is already standard in both Europe and Japan.
