Slackerbitch's favourite music!!

Here I've picked out some of my favourite bands... There's not much more to say about that,
but it might tell you something about me... If the name is blue, I've put in a link to a
page about the band.
Radiohead
After Suede, my ultimate favourite band. A sad, depressed, soaring beautiful music. Wonderful guitars and a wonderful
Thom Yorke, not to mention absolutely gorgeus Jonny Greenwood.
Placebo
The band who made a song called "Slackerbitch" which I concider one of their best. Click Here to read the lyric.
Glam-rock-pop, "the cure against british indiepop" as someone said.
The Smiths
Does not exist anymore. The saddest songs I've ever heard, gloomy and lost and depressed and misunderstood and
melodramatic and... so beautiful. An advice though: Don't listen to it if you're depressed, it only makes it worse.
Babylon Zoo
OK, so I know I must be very lonely still liking this band, but this is the first band I ever cared to listen
closer to (duh, and what a band, you must think) and they're pretty good. OK, so Jas Man might be the male Barbie doll of
the radio stations, but I still like his music.
Bernard Butler
The old Suedehead is making music on his own. Sad, but powerful. He's a guitar-super-hero and his soaring solos
make you wish you could play guitar yourself...
Backyard Babies
Swedish rock 'n roll band. There are 1 and 1000 reasons for why I should live in Dregen's tent at Hultsfred. I am,
for example, very good at watering plants. I have only one comment: Look At You, Dregen. I do!

Kent
Swedish and totally wonderful band. They have mada a record called "Isola" which I appreciate very much, and which
I have named my site after (as you may have noticed).
Nine Inch Nails
NIN are gods. I don't know what to say. They write my thoughts.
Smashing Pumpkins
Love is Suicide is a line that just sounds so right to me. Tom sings out of tune and touching beautiful. Lily, my one and
only... Definitely a favourite.
Plus: David Bowie, Nirvana, Cure, McAlmont & Butler, Pulp, Geneva, Portishead, Jacob Hellman, Brainpool,
Hardy Nilsson, Cranberries, Depeche Mode, Enya, Kula Shaker and Super Eight Group.
