§1. General
This information on this page is general for all GWs, if you want to know anything about a special GW you'll have to check the Upcomingpage.

§2. The schedule
Since this is depending on the planned events and when we get access to the locale this will be published on the Upcomingpage, but a guideline is that we start on the Friday at 2000 and finish the thing on Sunday at 2100 (depending on how many there are to help cleaning up!) Between these times we play 100% with minor breaks for eating, sleeping and breathing...

§3. Costs
Well, this is a subject we have tested through the GWs and found out that the best is with a registration fee for the arranged events and no other charges (at least as long as we don't have to pay for the locale :)

Of course you have to pay for your food and snacks!

§4. Services and equipment provided by us:
We set up and take care of the backbone network, i.e network hubs and fiberopticcables connecting the hubs to each other. We also maintain four to five Quake/Quake II servers for the purpose of free gaming. Added to those servers are the servers needed for the arranged events, i.e Quake 2-on-2 Tournament etc. The "free" servers can be configured for your needs! The base configuration is one CTF, one DM, one RocketArena, one TeamFortress and a backup DM server

The software versions of QW clients and alike are as you know very different all over the internet therefore we select versions for client and server version and then circulate a bunch of CDs with the selected versions. Info on the versions currently in use is here!

There will be Internetaccess in the locale but we set up the PCs with the needed software!

IF THERE IS TIME!

Tables and chairs for everyone and a place to sleep (not the GrandHotel but it works...)

You'll get ONE powerconnection and ONE networkconnection (cables are NOT included)

Largescreen projectors for the finals in the arranged events

§5. Equipment you MUST bring:
Powercables and branchbox

Networkcable (TP with RJ-45 connector)

A computer with networkcard (again TP with RJ-45 connector)

Headphones (not your homestereo with 300W speakers!)

§6. What if something goes wrong?
Ok, if something breaks/burns/get stolen or the alarm goes of and we know who's responsible, that person WILL PAY!
If we don't know who's responsible, EVERYBODY MUST SHARE THE COST! This is a REQUIREMENT for joining the GW!

BUT, nothing has ever happened the last GWs that required us to take such a step.

Ok, then fill in the form below and mail it to us! It is important that you know that this only makes us aware that you're interested in coming. It does NOT mean we've allowed it yet! We will contact you via e-mail later when we've checked you up! It will help if you have someone allready participating that can recommend you!

Before you press the Submitbutton read §6 above three times until you've memorized it! It is very important!
