October 10, 1997,
Germany
Johan "Gus" Östling from Flen, Sweden, has sent us a
couple of postcards from different places when travelling
around the world for his employer. The last one came from
Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Just an ordinary postcard,
nothing funny about it. Unless you think the picture of a
German he drew is funny.

- September 16, 1997,
Thailand
Hannu Alakoski, The Soul
Preachers drummer years ago, likes Thailand. Specielly
the lakes and stuff... That's what he writes in his post
card anyway.
He likes the Finnish national drink also: "Perkele
missä on kossu?" he writes.
The other guy who signed the post card is Rudengren, the guitarist of the
rock band Karma from
Mellösa, Sweden...

|
-
- kossu = Koskenkorva, the most common liquer
brand in Finland,
- tastes much like
vodka
- pillu = c*nt
-
- The stamp by the "Postcards" logo at the top of
the page is from this postcard.

August 26, 1997,
Cyprus
Fredric "Fredde" Larsson from Hälleforsnäs sent
us (well, there was just my name in the address field, but
I'd guess the post card was ment to ber "published" here...)
a postcard from Cyprus, where the girls seem to have
beutiful tan. And not too much clothes.

After some time we noticed that there was something on
the other side of the card as well. The guy thinks he can
Finnish, so he wrote something like this in Finnish:
"Hello! How aer you? Olvi is good. Nice
ass and tits is beach. Smooth and fresh c*nt taste.
Everybody sends hello."
Fredde didn't sign the post card but I know the post
card is from him. We think it's nice.

August 16th 1997,
Stockholm
This is from Sweden. More Finnish language.
And Swedish.
"A horse is a horse and Damned is the
best"
|
-
- hevonen = the Finnish word for horse
- häst = the Swedish word for horse
-
-
- Veltto Virtanen is a
Finnish rock (cult) figure. Gaye
Advert was the female bass player in the punk rock
band The Adverts. The Damned were punk rockers as well.

May 6th, 1997, Korea
Johan "Gus" Östling from Flen, Sweden, sent us a
card when visiting Seoul in Korea (you know, the Olympics
city). He is in the picture (left) putting fire to the
Olympics toarch.
Or is it a Olympic toarch? Gus writes that Korea is the
land of dope and according to himself he is in the picture
putting a light to a really big hash cigarette...
