TIMELINE:
1992: Hampus Klarin and A Mikael Syvanen met on a bus.
... they exchanged some guitar chords, played and sang a little together.
... Both of the two Syvanen brothers had been performing before, and also Hampus,
but this was "the birth of the cool".
1993: The younger brother Syvanen, Kim was included, mostly for adding his vocal
texture to the harmonies, but also for his growing ability to play the bass
guitar.
1994: Through a friend of the Syvanen's, young Isak became drummer for
the group...
TODAY: So far the performances have been made up of everything from covers,
unplugged, to a cappella songs, to Hawthorne's own songs.
...One demo tape has been made.
...Currently the band is in a bit of a stasis, (they don't live in the same
country for a while, that's why) but they're full of musical ideas,
waiting to be realized.
