Viktoria "Sanna" (1980-1993) was our foundation bitch and the reason
why we got to love this breed so much. For us she was the ideal dog - and
the ideal Tervueren. Always happy, eager to please, friendly and extrovert,
healthy and lovely to look at. She was very "modern" for her day - a medium
sized bitch with very sound construction, good bone, short back, lovely croup
and tailset, lovely mahogany red coat - but most of all - a well chiseled,
long head with lovely high-set ears, dark eyes and the typical, quizzical
expression. And she had clear hips, of course.
She was the one who introduced us to the world of dog shows. She was an instant hit and won International, Swedish and Finnish CC:s and lots of Best of Breeds - her last at 8 years of age! Then she took up a career in Veterans and won many BOB Veteran and several Best In Shows! Together with her offspring she also won several Best In Show Brood Groups at Special Shows. She also enjoyed doing Obedience and won her Obedience Diploma at also made a few appearances at working trials. She retired from the rings at 10,5 years of age - still going strong!
Not only was Sanna a joy to live with and lots of fun in the showring, she also turned out to be an excellent broodbitch. She had four litters with four in many ways very different studs - and the litters always turned out great.16 of Sannas offspring won CC:s and many more won Champion Quality. Many also had working or obedience merits like Obedience Champion Mahagonny´s Xodus (ex Xogan von Switto) and Obedience & Show Champion Mahagonny´s Ztormy Weather (ex Toni von Lichtental). When "Sanna" passed away at 13,5 years of age in 1993 she left a legacy of beautiful, healthy and working progeny.

Golden Fleece "Leo" (1983-1991) was our first import and quite a personality.
He was a very happy and playful dog and didn´t know how much he
could love his family. He was a medium sized, very shapely and
well angulated dog with lovely dark mahogany coat. He was 62 cm at the withers
and 62 cm long. Actually, he had the exact measurements of the standard down
to the smallest detail - his head was 25 cm with 12,5 muzzle and 12,5
skull for example. The only thing that differed from the standard was
his depth of chest - which exceeded the standard by 6 cm... Do I need to
say that he had clear hips, too?
Leo was the most used stud dog in Scandinavia in the mid 80´s and sired 168 puppies. He is famous for two things - his offspring were unusually healthy and they had great working abilities. Not that they weren´t good looking - but so were others. But only Leo produced that amount of puppies without one single case of HD...
Leo sired Show, Obedience and Working Champions as well as the Norwegian Winner 1987, the Swedish Winner 1988, the 2:nd and 5:th best at the first Agility Championships in Sweden in 1987 and Swedens most winning working dog in 1987 - who was also the 2:nd best All Breeds Working Dog the same year. And that´s just mentioning a few of his progeny.

Baron Rouge de Condivicnum "Barro" (1986-1987)
was our first French import and the dog of our dreams. He was the most
beautiful thing to look at, he was happy and friendly - a dog with great
prospects.
But his life was tragically short - he was born Feb 18th 1986, came to Sweden at 3 months of age and went directly into quarantine for 4 months; spent one winter and one spring with us and tragically died May 11th 1987, just 15 months old.
Barro never had any offspring but he was the Tervueren that really illustrated for us what a Tervueren could - and should - be all about. He set the standard for our breeding and for the imports that followed in his tracks.

Bohemian Rhapsody "Tex" born 1985 arrived in Sweden at 10 weeks old together
with his litter sister CH Delator Magic Flute. All his life he´s been
a happy, rambunctious, lively dog with lots of pizzazz. He was an instant
hit at dog shows, but due to his owners illness (we co-owned him with another
family) his show career was cut very short. Not that he minded. Living on
a farm with lots of animals and four children to watch over, he´s been
a very happy dog.
As far as looks, Tex was a completely continental dog - and this at a time in Sweden when that was a rare thing. Not everybody understood his long, well chiseled head, his small high-set ears and his short back. We had several critiques from judges like "Ears too small", "Ears to closely set" or "Back too short". It was worth a laugh but got to be infuriating in the long run. He naturally had clear hips, too.
Tex was a pillar of strength and good health. He sired 97 puppies who inherited his zest for life, his continental type, his strong health (not one single case of HD among them) and excellent working abilities. Among others he sired dogs with Working Certificates in all the different areas - police, military, Search & Rescue - but also many CC:s winners. One of his most well known puppies is CH Alegros Drambuie who is a certified military dog and who won the CC at Scandinavias largest special show. Tex is also the father of our brood bitch Mahagonny's A Star Is Born.

Mahagonny´s Yasmine "Lisa" (1985-1996) came from our third litter
from LP Viktoria. Lisa was the first Tervueren
from our own breeding that we in turn bred from. Lisa was a tall, striking
bitch who quickly won her 3 CC:s in the showring. She´s also one of
the few Tervueren in Sweden to have won Best In Show at a Working
Breeds Championship Show. She also won Best In Show Veteran at 7 years of
age. And to top it off she also had an Obedience Diploma. And she had clear
hips, of course.
She had a very quiet, loving personality and really didn´t want much else out of life than a cuddle and a kiss.
Her offspring followed the family tradition of dual purpose - among them Obedience Champion Mahagonny´s Brother In Arms (ex DK CH Grand-Pitou van de Hoge Laer) who was 2:nd at the Swedish Agility Championships two years running (team) and also a very able working dog like his half-brother TJH Mahagonny´s Ain´t Necessarily So (ex Delator Bohemian Rhapsody) who is a certified search and rescue dog for the Swedish army. At the same time the puppies showed great flair in the show ring - for example her daughter NV-91 LP Mahagonny´s C´est Magnifique (ex Oud Sabbinge Heino von Tolrick) who was Norwegian Winner 1991 under the dutch breed specialist Willemine Wodak-van Deijl. And she also has an Obedience Diploma and competes in Obedience III.

A Star Is Born (1987-2000) Asta was the third generation that we bred
from, being the grand-daughter of our foundation bitch LP
Viktoria and the daughter of LP Mahagonny´s
Yasmine.
Asta - herself a small, stout girl (clear hips, of course) won her 3 CC:s fast as a youngster and then decided to take on the shape of Roseanne Barr - has made quite an impact as a brood-bitch.
Most notably, she was the mother of two very successful dual-purpose Tervueren bitches - Show Champion & Working Champion LP Mahagonny´s Dancing Queen (ex Swedish Show Champion & Swedish Obedience Champion Mahagonny´s Ztormy Weather) and Swedish Show Champion & Swedish Obedience Champion LP1 LP2 Mahagonny´s Just One Look (ex Swedish Winner1992 Corsini Breakaway) who now competes in High Class Working Trials and who has had the rare honour of being BIG-2 at an International All Breeds Championship Show.
She is also the grandmother of some of our must successful US exports: AMCH Mahagonny's Quo Vadis CGC; AMCH Mahagonny's Quest for Fire TDI, HIC, CGC; Mahagonny's Quality Street (RWB Regional Specialty 1999) and Mahagonny's Unforgettable HIC (BOS Sweeps USA National 2000).

Dundee de Condivicnum "Dundee" (1988-1998) was our
first female import and we spent two years deciding what bloodlines we wanted
and travelled several times to France in order to make our minds up. And
when her breeder Christophe Pichon told us that he had a lovely bitch
puppy from this combination, we knew that was the one!
Dundee never disappointed us. She was very stylish and an absolute joy to look at, had a lovely, sweet nature and gave us some wonderful progeny that we could breed on from. And she had clear hips, of course.
She won several CC:s and BOB:s. She had her first litter at her "foster" family but it was our "fault". She was staying with us and accidentally was mated by our young french import ra Eager de Condivicnum. We were in the process of building a new house and had no way of taking care of a litter at that time, so her "foster" family kindly agreed to bring the litter up as theirs. And so they got off to a flying start. That litter was the most winning Tervueren litter of the early 90´s containing for example CH Xentric´s Kenzo of Eager, CH Xentric´s Karizma of Eager and our own Swedish Winner 1993 LP Xentric´s Khamelia of Eager .
Later on Dundee had two litters under the Mahagonny affix - both ex SV-92 Corsini Breakaway. The K-litter was a hard act to follow, but many of the new puppies have done equally well. Most well known is RA Mahagonny´s Full Moon In Blue Water, a multiple CC-winning male with both Swedish and International CC:s. He´s won BIS as special shows both as a Junior and as a Young Dog, and he was Best Male with CC at the largest special show in Scandinavia in 1994.

LP Mahagonny´s C´est Magnifique "Tessa" born 1989 is the
second daughter to LP Mahagonny´s
Yasmine and grand-daughter of our foundation bitch
LP Viktoria that we´ve bred from. She went
out on breeding terms so unfortunately we´ve only had one litter from
her.
Tessa is the winner of both International and Norwegian CC:s and she was Norwegian Winner 1991. Like her mother, she is a tall, striking bitch with lovely mahogany colour, short back, long, well chiseled head and lots of elegance. She has a very strong temperament and is a talented obedience dog and has her Obedience Diploma and competes is Obedience III. And she has clear hips, of course.
Her most well known offspring is her daughter Mahagonny´s Greatest Love (ex SV-92 Corsini Breakaway) who has won all the CC:s necessary to become a Swedish Show Champion. She has won several BOB:s and has had the rare honour of being BIG-3 at an International All Breed Championship Show.

RA Eager de Condivicnum "Igor" (1989-1999) was imported from France as
a puppy. He was a wonderful, funny dog with a strong character and a
sweet disposition. He was tall and very elegant with a wonderful
well-chiseled head with dark,almond eyes and high set ears. He was
short with good angulation and lots of pizzazz. He had got clear hips, naturally.
Igor had a very successful show-career winning many International and National CC:s and BOB:s. And he won his CC:s under breed specialists- among them 4 CC:s under Belgian judge Robert Pollet, the author of the Blueprint of Belgian Shepherds...
His greatest feat was at the French Breed Special Aug 23rd 1997 when he was selected Sujet Recommandé - the oldest Belgian ever to achieve this prestigeous award (8,5 years old)! He also passed the highest level of the French mentality test - Test de Championnat Excellent +.
Igor was the sire of many well known Tervueren in Scandinavia, most notably the littermates CH Xentric´s Kenzo of Eager, CH Xentric´s Karizma of Eager and our own Swedish Winner 1993 LP Xentric´s Khamelia of Eager (our of our french import Dundee de Condivicnum). But he also sired well known dual purpose dogs like KORAD Continentals Jeanne d´Arc (several CC:s, BOB:s and working merits), KORAD Continentals Juicy Fruit and TJH Elliott (Korad, Certified Search and Rescue Dog and competing in Elite Class Working).
At 7,5 Igor won his first obedience competition and swept the floor with his 5-6 years younger competitors, prooving that a real Terv is never too old to learn new tricks.

Mahagonny's Deep Water "Valle" was born on May 4th 1990. He's a
medium sized, very elegant male with a long, well chiseled head with dark
almond eyes and well set ears. He's got a short, strong back, is well angulated
all over and has a lovely croup and tail carriage.
"Valle" is a recommended stud by the Swedish Breed Club under judge Norman Deschymere, Belgium. He's won 2 CC:s at Breed Specials under judges Dina Fumagalli and Verena Sutermeister as well as BOB and BIS-placements. He has got all the necessary CC:s for his Swedish Show Championship. He was recently awarded Best Of Breed Veteran.
"Valle" is the fourth generation from our foundation bitch LP Viktoria whom he's also line bred to. His father is Obedience CH & Show CH Mahagonny's Ztormy Weather, a son of LP Viktoria. Besides being a double Champion, he also had Certificate points in Elite Class Working (both tracking and searching).
"Valles" mother is Mahagonny's A Star Is Born; granddaughter to LP Viktoria. She is a multiple CC winner with several BOB:s, and quite a few very successful offspring both in obedience, working and shows. The most famous are Valles litter sister Working CH & Show CH & Obedience I Mahagonny's Dancing Queen and his half-sister (ex British import SV-92 Corsini Breakaway) Show CH & Obedience CH & Obedience I & Obedience II Mahagonny's Just One Look (who also competes in Elite Class Obedience and High in Working Trials).

Corsini Breakaway "Sini" born 1990 was imported from Great Britain as
a puppy. He's a small yet masculine, very shapely male with a striking
red colour and an abundance of coat. He's got a well chiseled, long head
with black almond shaped eyes and the tiniest ears set high on his head.
He's got wonderful angulation and moves like a dream. And he's gotclear hips,
of course.
Sini was Swedens' Most Winning Belgian (all four varieties) 1992 and he was Swedish Winner the same year as well as BIG-4 at Scandinavias largest dog show in Stockholm. He's won several other BIS and BIG-placements, and is the record winning Tervueren in Sweden to date.
He is also both a Swedish and a Scandinavian Champion at the SHK (Swedish Dog Club) and he was the most winning Tervueren at SHK in 1996.
Sini was used for stud quite a bit in the early 90's and he has given both show, working and obedience winners. Among his many successful offspring are RA Mahagonny's Full Moon In Blue Water, who won CC and Best Dog at Scandinavias largest Special Show 1994, and who is also a multiple CC winner (Int & Nat) with several BIS and BIG-placements. His full brother SHK CH Mahagonny's In the Heat of Night is also a Multiple CC winner with BIS placements (both are out of our french import Dundee de Condivicnum). Their half sister Swedish Show Champion & Swedish Obedience Champion LP1 LP2 Mahagonny's Just One Look, is a true dual-purpose Tervueren. She presently competes in High Class Working Trials and Agility II (she's out of Mahagonny's A Star Is Born).

Swedish Winner 1993 Obedience Diploma Xentric's Khamelia
of Eager (1990-2000) was the daughter of our two multiple CC-winning
french imports sr ra Eager de Condivicnum
and Dundee de Condivicnum. Together
they produced the most successful litter of the early 90's; among her littermates
are CH Xentric´s Kenzo of Eager, CH Xentric´s Karizma of Eager
and Xentric´s Khazmira of Eager (multiple CC winner in Sweden
and Norway).
Khamelia herself was Swedens' most winning Tervueren bitch 1993. She was also Swedish Winner 1993 and was Best In Show at a prestigious Breed Club Special Show that same year. She has all the show merits necessary to become a Swedish Show Champion and she competed in Obedience II. And she had clear hips, of course.
She had three litters and turned out to be a marvellous brood-bitch - her puppies live up to very high standards both concerning type and temperament.
In her first litter to British import EA SV-91 Corsini Aragon, she produced Swedish Show Champion & Korad & recommended brood bitch & Obedience Diploma Mahagonny´s Kisses Sweeter than Wine ; multiple BIS-winning LP Mahagonny´s King Pin (multiple Int and Nat CC:s + obedience and working merits); CC-winning Mahagonny's Kiss Me Kate and our own Mahagonny´s Kisses of Fire; whose first litter has already won three Championship titles.
For her second litter we traveled to France and used the double BIS winner at the Paris show - RE Foehn du Bois du Tôt. This litter produced among others Norwegian Show Champion & Norwegian Winner 1999 Mahagonny's Magical Mystery and multiple CC, BOB and Best In Show-placer Mahagonny's Midnight Cowboy, as well as Mahagonny´s Modesty Blaise, Mahagonny´s Moonlight Serenade and Mahagonny's Memphis Belle .
Her third and last litter, sired by our French import CH Joffrey du Parc du Montfleury, disappointingly only resulted in three puppies. One of them has been exported to the US - Mahagonny's Paperback Writer - where he is pointed and on his way towards his Amercian Show Championship.

Mahagonny's
Falling In Love "Sara" is a medium sized, very shapely grey bitch
with a lovely well chiseled, long head with a perfect black mask and almond
black eyes. She's a friendly, sweet-natured girl who lives on breeding terms
with a family with lots of children and animals, and she just loves it!
She's from the very successful combination between British import Swedish Winner 1992 SV-92 Corsini Breakaway and french import Dundee de Condivicnum.
SV-92 Corsini Breakaway was Swedens' Most Winning Belgian (all four varieties) 1992 and he was Swedish Winner the same year as well as BIG-4 at Scandinavias largest dog show in Stockholm. He's won several other BIS and BIG-placements, and is the record winning Tervueren in Sweden to date.
Dundee de Condivicnum has won several CC:s and BOB:s. Sara has only had one litter. This litter produced, among others, multiple CACIB and BOB winner Mahagonny's Name of the Game as well as multiple BOB:s winner Mahagonny's Natural Woman, who competes in Elite Class Obedience and Working Trials.

NORWCH Joffrey du Parc du Montfleury was born on Jan 8th 1994 at mme
Jacqueline Riu, France. He's a medium sized, very short, masculine male with
a lovely mahogany coat, a well-chiseled, long head with dark, almond eyes,
small, well-placed ears and good angulation. He's got clear hips, of course.
Joffrey is a Norwegian Show Champion. He has also won Best In Group-3 at an International Championship Show. And we are proud to announce that he won one of his CC:s under Belgian judge Robert Pollet - the man behind "The Blueprint of the Belgian Shepherd Dog".
Joffreys hips and eyes are tested and Clear.
His father RE Carey du Bois du Tôt is the Top Stud in France for the third year running and with a record number of winning progeny. He has also produced a record number of progeny that have been awarded the title Sujet Recommandé (recommended stud/bitch).
Carey himself is an Elite Stud Dog. He is the father of, among others, RE CH Giono du Bois du Tôt (BIS at the French Breed Special 1995), sr Joconde du Bois du Tôt (BIS at the French Breed Special 1996), sr Isar du Royaume de Bucksye (Best Male at the French Breed Special 1996, 2:nd best open male at the Breed Special 1995 and winner of Championnat de France 1996), sr Hekla du Bois du Tôt (Best Bitch at the Breed Special 1994), sr Faline de Quokelunde (2:nd Best Bitch at the Breed Special 1994) and so on.
Joffrey is the father of a long line of outstanding puppies. Among them are AMCH Mahagonny's Quo Vadis CGC; AMCH Mahagonny's Quest for Fire CGC, HIC, TDI; SW CH & NORW CH Tikkabi's Hindi; NORW CH Vestertorps Viva de la Vega and NORW CH Vestertorps Valentino.
Unfortunately, we only had the chance to "borrow" Joffrey for 2,5 years before he had to be returned to his owner Mervi Aminoff, Finland. But even in this short time he's had a tremendouch impact on the breed in Norway and other countries as well.
Since 2001, Joffrey lives in the US with Dana Mackonis, Cachet Noir Tervueren. In a very short time he gained his US Championship, prooving again what an outstanding dog he is.

Halicarnasse du Royaume de Bucksye HIC "Halí" was born on Nov
30th 1992 at M. Philippe Jeanneau, France. He's a very masculine dog with
excellent type. He's got a wonderful mahogany red coat with very good overlay
and an excellent mask. He's got a long, well chiseled head with very nice
earset and eyes. He's got a lovely, deep chest, very good bone, a huge coat
and wonderful angulation. He's got the best movement we've ever seen in a
Belgian Shepherd Dog.
He has been hip x-rayed clear in France, Sweden and the US; he has been eye tested clear in Sweden and the US and since going to live in the US he has also had his elbows x-rayed and his thyroid tested; both clear of course.
Hali gained his American Championship after spending only 4 months in the US. He has since won several BOB:s as well as Best In Group-1 Veteran at his first show in Veteran's Class.
Halí is a multiple CC winner in France, Sweden and Norway. He needs one more CC to gain his Championship in Norway, and he's got all the necessary show merits for the Championship in Sweden. He's one of the few Tervueren to have won Best In Show at an all-breeds CH show, and has also got several BIS and BIG placements. He's won CC and Res-CC in France under breed specialists dr Yves Surget and M. Gerard Racque. He's got his character test in both France and Sweden.
Halí has sired some very beautiful and talented puppies. Among his most well known puppies are the Norwegian born Vestertorps Magic Wizard Man (out of NORW CH NV-99 Mahagonny's Magical Mystery) who won the CAC:s 1999 at both the Norwegian and the Swedish Nationals; NORW CH Dancimera's Frejdige D-Vilda (who also has all the necessary show merits to gain her Championship in Sweden); AMCH Mahagonny's Southern Cross HIC and his litter sister AMCH & CANCH Mahagonny's Some Like It Hot (out of Mahagonny's Kisses of Fire); Dancimera's Frejdige Debbie who has won 3 CAC:s, BOB and Group-placements; Mahagonny's Name of the Game who in just a few shows have won 2 x CACIB, BOB & BOS and her littermate Mahagonny's Natural Woman who has won several BOB:s and competes in Elite Class Obedience and in Working Trials II.

Mahagonny's
In the Mood "Robin" is a medium sized, very elegant male with a deep,
rich mahogany coat. He's got a long, elegant head with very black, almond
eyes, lovely reach of neck, with a deep chest and nice angles all over. He's
a happy, outgoing guy who get along with everyone and everything.
He's from the successful combination between British import Swedish Winner 1992 SV-92 Corsini Breakaway and french import Dundee de Condivicnum.
SV-92 Corsini Breakaway was Swedens' Most Winning Belgian (all four varieties) 1992 and he was Swedish Winner the same year as well as BIG-4 at Scandinavias largest dog show in Stockholm. He's won several other BIS and BIG-placements, and is the record winning Tervueren in Sweden to date.
Dundee de Condivicnum has won several CC:s and BOB:s. Her first litter (by our french import SR RA Eager de Condivicnum) was the most winning Tervueren litter of the early 90´s containing for example CH Xentric´s Kenzo of Eager, CH Xentric´s Karizma of Eager and our own Swedish Winner 1993 LP Xentric´s Khamelia of Eager .
"Robin" has several very well known litter-mates. His brother RA Mahagonny's Full Moon In Blue Water won the CC and Best Dog at Scandinavias largest Special Show 1994, and is also a multiple CC winner (Int & Nat) with several BIS and BIG-placements. His full brother SHK CH Mahagonny's In the Heat of Night is also a Multiple CC winner with BIS placements (both are out of our french import Dundee de Condivicnum). His litter-sister Mahagonny's Intrigue was on the Top 10 list 1996. And so on.
