Description

Chaparral Communications has combined the best performance features of the Corotor II feedhorns into one Wideband dual-band feedhorn, the Corotor II Plus Wideband feedhorn. It features Chaparral's quality workmanship and patented probe design for circular and linear C-band and a unique dipole for wideband linear Ku-band reception. Both elements are controlled by Chaparral's reliable servo motor, providing fine skew adjustment and quick selection of all signal polarities. The Corotor II Plus Wideband is designed for a wide variety of dishes with f/D ratios from .28 to .45. The new -3 model will receive Astra 1D, and has an even wider bandwidth.

Applications

The Corotor II Plus Wideband feedhorn is designed for superb reception of both circular and linear polarity C-band and linear polarity Ku-band signals.

The C-band capability captures signals from thos satellites broadcasting to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. The Ku-band captures signals from satellites broadcasting to the U.K., Scandinavia, and mainland Europe.

The Corotor II Plus Wideband feedhorn is designed for use with prime-focus reflectors.
