I wrote his name in the sand
but the wind took it
I wrote his name on a stone
but the water took it
I wrote his name on a paper
but the fire took it
I wrote his name in my heart
and it will be there forever...
I'd like to be the kind of
friend
you've always been to me
I'd like to be the specially
help
that you've been glad to be
I know I'm blessed for only
god
can make a friend like you
You know just how to cheer
me up
whenever I feel blue
Can I just have one wish fulfilled
this one would it be -
I'd like to be the kind of
friend
that you've been to me...
The circle of friendship is a place
of warm and caring
Where people come together for listening
and sharing
A place of kindness and trust of tears
and laughter too
I'm glad to share the circle with
a special friend like you.
