These pages are dedicated to one of the greatest racing circuits the world has ever known. Not only great in it's length - the Nordschleife alone
covers over 20 km - but also for it's setting in the Eifel mountains in Germany, it's bends and curves, it's climbs and descents - the sheer power of the place.
By many great drivers considered the biggest driving challenge of them all. Today the Nürburgring is a modern track, acting host for many different things from Formula 1 to rock-concerts.
But this site isn't about that Ring, this site is about the Nordschleife. Not used any more but still around, and with a story or two to tell. Stories with names like
Planzgarten, Nuvolari, Fuchsröhre, Fangio, Karussell, Lauda, and many many more.
Here your will find facts and figures, history and stories about this great track. You will also find pictures and sounds from the track, and some interesting links.
