faith, hope and love.

This symbolizing of ICorinthians 13:13 may be supplemented with
a New Testament illustration of God's boundless, unmerited love
which we call "grace":
Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. He has brought us by faith into this experience of God's grace, in which we now live. And so we boast of the hope we have of sharing God's glory!...God has shown us how much he loves us--it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us!

By placing the ship symbol for the ecumenical world wide church
within the burning heart, we will affirm that God loves us all--
travelers on the good ship Oikumene, those who sail over the ocean in other ships, bathers on the happy shores, strugglers in the briney deep, persons who have made shipwreck of their faith(1Ti.1:19), castaways, marooned, drowning, or scuba divers, or surfers, or whatever--God loves each and every one of us and welcomes us aboard!
