Back to my HOME PAGE
Hello and welcome to my genealogy.
I would here like to give a description about the church congregations in which I have made research. My great interest for who I am and who my ancestors were, started in October 1972 when my beloved mother died. My father began to tell me about my grandfather´s tragic story. It was so interesting that this story gave me and my brother a deep historical intrest for our older relatives. I have been in old church archives and I have read old newspapers on draughty attics and also interviewed older relatives. Unfortunately I can´t do research every day because I have to take care at my family too. However I still want to show my research results to a large group of people. In this page you can look for relatives and please send me a mail if you think you can help me complete the story. The family name NORGREN stems from the small village Norberg in a district called Västmanland just south of Dalarna in Sweden. It was a district charged with the maintenance of a tenement solidier, who had this name at first. The solider Norgren, Per Persson, carried the solidername even after he had finshed his carieer. Here you can see the relationship from the beginning of the name to my 9 years old son Peter Norgren.
