Happy new year 2000!

Fellows!

I started to write postcards but gave it up. I think this electronic way is more camp-like, I mean you should hang on to traditions!!!! New traditions, not always the old ones!

First of all I have to say I am sorry for the little "hej-message that was sent a few days ago. It was ment to be a test of this beautiful Nokia Communicator....the SEND-botton was however to close.

Happy new year!!!

Well, here is a real message. Some of you may disagree but...

Well here I am, in the Canary Islands, Playa Ingles to be exact! It is warm and cosy here in the poolbar where I just have had a hamburger and a cuba libre! Nice! And only for the price of about six euro!

I get reports from back home that it raining and snowing. It is all right with me, so why do they have to call to tell that? Collegs, hmmm.

Santa was some days ago sitting here in the bar together with Rudolf. We had a nice chat. Suddenly Santa got yhe familier "Peter 3-look" on his face and said to Rudolf "-Let's skip Norway and have another beer"!!!

Bad news first. I think I am allergic to gin. Had a few yesterday and had some difficulties to breath. Thanks G. it was not champagne that had this effect.... Havanna club is not bad after all! Mmmm.

Happy new year! Good news is that it is danceevening EVERY night! The idea if going here for resting went to the lions!

Still I am missing Beach club de San Augusin and the old days - and nights there!

Scandinavians make noice - not only campers! This weeks recordholder must be a gang that was boosing heavyly at poolside. A fellow wanted to swim, some people was worried for his sake but on the stairs down to the water he fell asleap!! Do I have to say he was norwegian!

After that depressing experience I took a walk to the nearby Jumbo shoppingcenter. After a while I got thirsty and sat down in a bar that was good enought for me. But. Into the bar floated a fellow that obviously have had a little to much. Upon trying to order he was asked to go to his hotell to rest! His reply was "I don't know where my hotel isch!". Sorry finns, but that's what he was....

What about Sweds? Well so far I have been careul... but who know... (And don't forget that sharks don't ear sharks....)

And Danes We have to be nice to, otherwise there will be a peoblem in week 30...

So my friends, the main reason for this message is to wish you a
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
And now it is done! No more postcards!

Regards,

Kåge
