Tour of Racken

Begin at the XC track in Graninge. 5km later you will reach Vassvika. Follow the sign Blanka Pannan. Turn right on the carridgeway. At the light left bend continue straight forward and follow the singeltrack to Spekedtorpen.

Ride over the small ditch and the short uphill turn left after the two houses. Take the graveled road and turn left after a short downhill and a right turn. This singeltrack (3 km) and a short stretch of carridgeway takes you to Bosebyn.

Ride right in the 4 way X-in. Continue until you can see the tarmac road between Arvika-Gunnarskog. Turn right and after a short uphill and approx. start looking for the old carridgeway that will take you down to Racken.

Cross the road and ride on above the crest at Blå Lagårn. Continue and turn left at the second road and then right at the second road again.

This is where the climb up to Lövhöjdsvägen begins. The beginning is graveled and the part from the house is dirttrack.
When you covered it all take to your right and and ride the easy part down to the beginning of the singeltrack to Agvattnet.

It begins just before the road steepens down. Turn left. This is the most technical part of the tour with rocks, bogs and mudhooles before lake Agvattnet.

Standing with Agvattnet before you there are two ways to choose from. Right, and you will get just above the military storage.
Left, witch i recommend you ride on the north side of Agvattnet and after an interesting singeltrack you can turn right on Slomvattensvägen.

From this point and to Racken there is nothing spectacular beside the short and fast downhill ( ca 70 km/h ) midways.
Ride left and go above the crest keep an eye to left this is the beginning of a singeltrack to Gustås. It contain roots, rocks and bogs. At Gustås ride beside the house and there is this gravel road to old road nr 61.

Turn left and then right. A couple of kilometers and a short uphill takes you to Bålgård. From here (right) and to Arvika it´s almost downhill all the way.
