The beginning of this tour is similar to Tour of Racken. 50 meters before the singeltrack to Blanka Pannan turn right. After the singeltrack and short downhill ride over the meadows follow the graveled road to Racken. This short breath opener will get you ready for the climb up to Alken. Bypassing the lake takes you to the end of the road. Between you and Bytorpet lies 3,3km of rocks,roots and bogs, just follow the orange squares .
There is two options at the beginning of the carridgeway, ride to Bytorpet (recommended) or go directly to Mossen. Either way this will eventually take your ride to Fjäll. When the left turn is made the beautiful view (one of many) of Stora Salungen will meet you. A couple of kilometers later the "Airstrip" ends this section and in my liking the best part of the ride begins. From this point and until you reach Racken apart from very short sections it is mostly forest you are riding in.
The main climb of the day is up to Dansarhallen (330 m above sea level). The hardness varies because the surface is dirt and grass and after a rain it is almost unrideable. Downshift to a low gear and attack !!!!! The part after the climb can have a soft surface until you can see Örvattnet. After a short stretch of gravel the singeltrack to Slomvattnet begins. Its rideable all the way accept perhaps for the small bog at the second half. From the roundabout and to the next singeltrack it´s downhill all the way apart from a small rise before Agvattnet. Turn left here, and a nice section of various tricky parts mixed with easy will eventually end up at Lövhöjdsvägen and a relieving downhill will let you recuperate before riding home on the road.
