Gino's brother Ross Vannelli had a band called "Sender". Their first album "Exiled on the earth" (RCA KKL10547) includes Lee Ritenour and Joe Vannelli. Gino wrote one song and arranged the title song.

EastWest Records in Italy in 1995 released a Joe Vannelli produced album by Italian artist Gianni Bella entitled `Bella Donna'. This album features a duet with Gianni and Gino sung in Italian.

German Olympic Team - Flame: Summer Olympics Atlanta 1996 (96)

In 1996, Gino recorded a re-mix of the song "Just A Motion Away" for the official CD for the 1996 German Olympic Team entitled "Flame: Summer Olympics Atlanta 1996". Other artist on the album include Chaka Kahn, Al Jarreau, Vince Mendoza, Brenda Russell, Lori Perry and many others. The album is produced by Joe Vannelli, Vince Mendoza and Jimmy Haslip. Joe also engineered the album.

In October of 1996, Gino sang a duet with a french singer by the name of Nelson. The song (sung in french and english) will appear on her new album.

Gino recently completed a project with spainish opera star Montsarrat Caballe for her upcoming album due out in March 97. A remake of "Put The Weight On My Shoulders" and an original track are included on this album.
