We can’t see why you should be better off than us.
Receiving all the fruits of our labor.
We want equality - monetary.
We will no longer crawl, for your authority.
Demonstrate the power of numbers!

- By demonstrating we can show solidarity to the oppressed.
We can spread the message of what we believe in. And we
can make contact with others  with the same conviction or
the same beliefs as ourselves . Furthermore, we can learn
how to organize. In the long run it’s a preparation for the
final revolution against capitalism. Don’t just whine about
the problems for yourself. Whine in front of others as well.
Inform. Go out and protest in the streets!
Take some action goddamnit!

Disconnect.
Healthy and alive in sick areas.
The infection seems to embrace everything.
But I still feel. And I try to reach you.
And I try to avoid the contamination.
(I recognize the contradiction).
Wanna cut you off. Disconnect.

- This world is so sick if you start to question it (so don’t!).
It feels as if every goddamn part of it is infected by this
disease. Everyone has such a hard time understanding my
words and reasoning that it seems as if I’m the only one
who is well (or sick, whatever...). Sometimes we pass the
line and we just wanna cut everything loose and fuck it.
But when you do so, it’s hard to start feel again.
Are you alive? Do you feel? Or have you lost contact?
 

The Challenge.
Justified cause you don’t care about anybody but yourself.
Lack of empathy well not for yourlself. Lack of time,
lack of money, well not for yourself.
How many times haven’t I taken all the flak?
Whenever have you spillt any energy?
Wasting time with finding excuses, you lame fucking punk.
Forget the problems, forget the ideas go get drunk!

- Punk is about change. Most of us agree on that.
So don’t get stuck. Try and create something new,
be creative and most of all revolutionary!
Experiment. Don’t limit yourself to categories
or stereotypes. Evolve. Grow. Keep yourself activated.
 

Bit Part In A Porn Movie.
I’m nothing to you, except statistic.
I work for you, you profit on me. I need you, you need me.
I hate you, you love me. My accessibility, my desperation.
You control and I? Measured in numbers. Reduced to statistic.
Measured in economic productivity. I’m scared I won’t please you.
So I suck you. But you suck me better. And you suck me dry.

- We, the people, are the ones creating the added value that someone
else collects. In this system we are depending upon the ones that offer
us jobs. We have not much choice but to let them exploit us in order
to receive what we need to survive. And in their eyes we are living
machines. Each and everyone of us has a sign over our heads displaying
how much we can produce in economic value. The lower this value is,
the more disposable we are. So in order to save our skins we do
everything to please these assholes - a porn movie called capitalism.

Rather Be Female.
If I reach down to your level, I will survive.
Giving in to aggressivity, violence and egoism.
Giving in to male characteristics, keeping the
’good’ within the female-gender. Keeping
females inferior, forcing females to become
like men. He will always be superior. Cause
he doesn’t care - He has no empathy.
Oh, he’s so cool! He is not weak - he’s a fucking robot.
Society advocates strength, coldness, egoism.
And I hate society. I’d rather be female.

- Qualities such as empathy, kindness and weakness etc,
are often considered feminine in our society. If you as a
guy display any of these qualities you may very well be
called feminine, or a faggot. People use these words as
something condescending, to get you back in line. Guys
are supposed to be strong and tough just like the heroes
on TV and girls are supposed to be like the beautiful girl
who gets rescued by these heroes. As we see it, the ’good’
qualities are therefore kept within the female-sphere.
And these ’good’ qualities make females inferior to men
(because our society is benefitial for those who can repress
their empathy and power of insight). So what do we want,
tough/aggressive wimmin, or more feminine guys?
Do we need more violence? Do we need macho-behaviour?
 

Revolution Is On The Way.
There’s many people just like me, who have lost all hope in society
~ we’re singing the revolution is on the way ~

- A reaffirming song. There ARE people just like YOU!!
We tend to feel that there aren’t, since the times we bump
in to likeminded are few. The gist of this song is that we
love activists of all kind. The words are lended from a
Naked Aggression song with the same title (so go check
them out, damnit!).

Back In The Daze (AKA The Fat-Mike Syndrome).
Back then we all shared the spirit of changing.
We believed in ourselves. We believed we could.
Then something happened - you fucking changed.
Now you all laugh at me cause I still believe.
But hey! Wait! Now I can see it - Adult means hope is lost...

Socialized to accept what’s (obviously) wrong.
Never saw it coming. Fed a concept, swallowed it whole.

- Basically this one’s about how we (males) are taught to dominate (each) others.
The refrain is a quote of Bryan/Contrascience where he writes about pornography,
which is one form of domination. Porn is something that is officially rejected by
our society but yet it continues to be produced and consumed. We do not talk
openly about porn, but a lot of men uses it, buys it and consumes it.
Porn is kinda cool and accepted (if not a necessary experience) in the company
of other men.  We have been taught to believe it’s okay with porn in one way,
and not okay in another. Very confusing. One thing though, that is true, and
most precise is that porn very seldom feature any natural, or realistic sexual
relationship between men and women (or man/man - woman/woman).
It’s fantasies created BY men FOR men. It’s an industry that is trying to make
money as any other industry. And in the process, women are getting exploated
and portrayed as objects.
Rape is a direct result of porn. The frequency of rape is linked to porn.
Porn is a contributing factor to the frequency of rape in our society.
Just as violence on TV effects the street violence, does porn effect the
raising amount of sexualized violence. Most of us do not rape someone
because we’ve grown up with porn around us, but a lot of men grow up
with a skewed image of women and women’s sexuality. We never asked to
be raised this way - with these influences. Now we have, and it has given us
a way of reasoning and looking upon women. Not many question the images
and the reasoning that are fed to us. The porn industry conservates these
ways of reasoning/looking - this view on women. To be opposed to
pornography is not to be opposed to nudity, to be prude or opposed to sex.
It is to be opposed to this view on women that society is breeding. It is to be
opposed to oppression and inequality. It is to be opposed to the fact that a
women’s being raped every fifthteen minute in Sweden.

Hypocrits. Your commandments have a nice ring. You’ve blinded quite a few.
With misogynistic politics, (the dick-possessing half of mankind will be interested)
the dicks will belong to you. Religion will fall with our revolution!

- So why write a song about this? Cause it's part of the punkband-stereotype to
have an anti-religion song? Well partly. I think it is interesting and important to
analyze the message of the Bible for example, and see the parallells with values
of todays society. Why homophobia exists, why reproductive rights have been
held away from women so long etc. These are just a few examples.
I can't see the messages of the Bible exist along with the messages of an equal society
where human beings are allowed to grow as individuals and aren't restricted and
repressed. In that sense you may anti-religious. But I am not opposed to religion in
the spiritual sense - merely a few of the politics.

Democracy Tommyrot.

the bucks again. We traded your future. We traded
your lives. We traded. And we earned. We treated
you as shit. We betrayed you.
Just victims of witty wording. Someone’s purpose was fulfilled.
Our way comes the bucks and the jobs.Your way comes the
bullets and the massacred bodies. It was either us or the french
or the americans or the britts or whatever.
However it was the bucks again.

- About the JAS. A swedish fighter aircraft that is being sold to
unstable democracies under the argument that these countries
must have the option to deceide for themselves.
We all know that the people do never get to deceide about these
sort of decicions but they are always the losers of war.
 
At Least A Failure.
I have this dream of ignoring our ’sexes’.
Having friends without penises.
See I like the guts out of you; I think you’re smart, witty & funny
(i.e. you’re a lot like me and yea, I’m a lot like you).
I want us to be as tight as the tightest pair of jeans you’ve ever worn.
But what the fuck can I do when I’m attracted to u?
Stupid emotions. Waste of time. So get control, huh?!

- Wouldn't it be nice to have a switch so we could be sexual when
we wanted to?
 
Take This Punk & Shove It.
What differs us from the rest?
Our obsession with style?
Our consumption of records, shirts and stickers?
Our hypocritical statements of unity and scene pride?
What makes us the hard core? Our so-called consciousness?
Our talk about action? Our ”open-mindedness”?
The tough guy dancing? I’ve never seen worse; I quit.

- Hardcore and punk sucks shit when you think of it.
I think all the questions of the song are valid to is in the punk
community. If we really wish to be a certain way then we
also darn well have to work a little (or rather a lot).
