The AGRI-DEP is a system for secure and accurate measurements of the soil depth for planting purposes using the same principles as a echo-sounder. The soil depths will be measured within 1mm accuracy. The AGRI-DEP system has been awarded with the 1997 years "silverbill", an award that is given by JTI for technical development in Swedish agriculture.

The AGRI-DEP was originally developed for the drilling machine type Rapid^®. This particular machine had trouble keeping the same depth over a whole field because of the clay and sand variations. The AGRI-DEP system display the depth variations and tells you when the necessary adjustment has to be made all within the comfort of the tractor cab. The results you receive will be a great boost to the crop turnout and proves that the AGRI-DEP system is very economical to use.
