Anna Berglund is a wonderful, soon 18yrs old, gal from Umeå. She likes snowboarding since she joined the school's snowboarding team in Japan this year. Right now she's been living in Asahikawa, Japan since in the middle of last August. She enjoys it very much and has learned alot of japanese since she arrived even though she knew some before. She also likes skateboarding so you could probably say she's a true skater, she wears those baggy jeans and those thypical skate shoes. She's got the same style as I had before even though I stayed away from everything else than a snowboard. She's really nice, kind, funny and became one of my best friends. She also writes good poems and stories. In school her majors is languages. So every now and then she writes something in japanese even though sometimes I can't understand her. Anna is also graduating with me next year. Anna loves the sea like me and music groups like Iron Maiden, Satanic Surfers and more. Now this fall break she's going over to England to visit Erika and she's also going to Sälen to watch the World Cup in snowboarding where she's going to translate japanese to swedish. She's also getting the hotel for free which the japanese snowboard team is paying for, really nice!

Elin Dahlberg is also a good friend of mine. She also likes snowboarding and to play the violin like me. The latest project she was in was in a concert called Symphony Rock, it was a really succeé. Otherwise she's living at Berghem in Umeå with her sister and her boyfriend, while her parents live down in Oskarshamn south of Stockholm. Then two years in May I introduced her to her currently boyfriend Anders who lives in Gothenburg. So like me she goes down there whenever we have a break from school. She's a nice person and in combination with me and Anna we have a lot of fun. I got to know her since we were in the same japanese class together our first year in high school. Now it's her last semester and then this June she's graduating. Elin loves to play the violin and classical music. By now she's moved down to her parents in Oskarshamn and study art which she really enjoys.

Erika Åström is a 19 yrs old girl from the country. She lives about 1 swedish mile outside town. This girl is also graduating this summer along with everybody else. I'm gonna miss her and all the other ones I know next year. Got to know her through Anna even though she went to the same class as me and Anna our first year together. She's working hard in school and wants to study law at the university. Otherwise she's a great friend, nice and all that a friend is to be. This Valentine Days week-end she and her mom went to London to see Phantom of the Opera, which she was really excited about even though she was sick last week. Erika doesn't do a particular sport and she likes almost any kind of music
Right now she's over in England again but this time she's an au-pair. She's got a great family and she loves it very much.

James "Jimmy" O' Sullivan is one of my best american friends. I met him through the YFU where he worked as a volonteer and I got to know him and his family, where his mom June also were an volonteer. He's a great guy with alot of humor and acknowledge, he's also kind, nice and a really good friend. He's always there for you. He now moved out with his girlfriend and now wife Angie from Germany into their own apartment while he studies his last year computer science at Marist College. Besides school he works at CSNET as a computer programmer or something like that. Jimmy's a totally vollyball fan and together with his friends Charlie, Andy and his cousin Bobby they rule the volleyball court. They also have a great fun besides volleyball, last year at 4th of July they went down to the City to see the fireworks with the german girls Angie and her friend Kätter. Jimmy has also been in Germany alot of times. It started with that they had a german exchangestudent Katrine and then Jimmy who had germany in school visited her a couple of times, and then the last time last year he met Angie, who's a nice german girl. Since Jimmy's always been into Germany I knew he'd hook up with one. His family also have two so cute dogs, Buddy and Heidi, which are miniature dachshunds' and now this summer they got a new one a big black labradore, Brutus. Jimmy is one of the few americans according to me that likes the European music style. Jimmy is now married since March and it's gonna be so fun to see them all again when we're going back this christmas and new year. They also got an own apartment down by the river which i'm excited to see.

Hendrik Fernandez is a great from Gothenburg who I got to see this summer when me and Mitko went down to Gothenburg. He's actually John's little brother, but he's sooo cool. I mean he's just as chic and funny as i am. The first time we met which is some time we immediately got to be friends, and this summer when we went together with the other bunch of guys and girls we had a blast. Man was that fun. He originally come from a little town called Floda where one of his parents still lives, then after high school he moved into Gothenburg like his brother. Now he's got a new job at his dad's company after being sick from his work at Volvo. He likes it very much since it's now as stressful as his last work. This guy also is addicted to Quake2 CTF (catch the flag), you know that game that you're a soldier and goes around killing the other people. He's team may not be one of the best but hey it's only a game. Both Henke and Micke is gonna play at the LAN in Gothenburg next week-end which they're looking forward to.

Natalie Guldahl became a good friend of mine back in the states. We lived in the same town so we could see eachother pretty often. She lives in Denmark about an hour outside Kopenhagen with her brother, mom and dad. Natalie is a lively girl, me and her had a lot of fun. We both went to the same YFU trips except for the Florida trip, and we had a blast, like the one in San Fransisco which none of us involved has ever spoken about with anyone. She's also adopted as her brother, like Anna she's got that baggy style which almost everyone had back in the states when we were there

Mikael Lövgren is a 24 yrs old guy from Gothenburg who's a good friend of mine. I met him through the internet and we became friends. Right now he's back in school and is studying networking technic, recently got a girlfriend who he seems to like a lot and I'm really glad for him. He's almost got the same taste as me when it comes to clothes and other stuff. He's kind, a good listener and often he knows what I'm talking about. Too bad though that we don't see eachother that often but every now and then we talk either on icq or on the phone but whenever we get together we have alot of fun together. He just got a new girlfriend and a new apartment in Gothenburg. They got a new apartment in Västra Frölunda which is like 15min away from the city, but now unfortunately they have to move since they can't afford it. Micke also play Quake 2 and unlike Henke's team his team [T] is ruling over everyone.
