May 1-3rd I went to Boston, MA with Natalie, Jana, Jenny, Julia. We were going on a whalewatch with some other YFU groups. We lived at a volonteer's house just outside Boston. It was really crowded, we stayed around 50 people in her house but we had a lot of fun. We arrived to Boston in the evening, we had June who was our volonteer. The night we arrived we just kinda looked around, seeing if there were people there we knew and so on. There'd been people coming from Rhode Island, New Hampshire, NY, CT and MA. Surprisingly there were alot of people I knew there. About the same people had also been to the Washington D.C trip so we all kinda knew eachother. For example Ebba Landin from Stockholm, Magnus Karlberg from Gothenburg, Angela from Germany, Anders from Gothenburg and all the others. Day two anyways we went to the whalewatch, so we all first drove to meet up with the Conneticut people who arrived late and then we went to the harbour and got on the boat. The weather was not perfect but it got better so when we finally arrived to the place where we were supposed to see the whales the sun had come out. So we waited for awhile and then, then they came. You could see the pile of water as the whales blew out their air, then the boat got closer to the whales and now we could see that there were dolfines there too swimming along with the whales. That's so awesome to see them in reality, we all or at least me was amazed by how big the dolfines and the whales were in reality. On TV you emagine them not that big but when you see them... they're as long as the boat the biggest whales.
Then on the evening when we all got back to our houses we just hanged out, watched some movies, played pool and enjoyed eachothers' company. It's hard to explain in detail since it's a while ago but one thing was for sure, I don't regret I went to Boston. During our time there I also got to know this guy better, I'm not gonna tell You who it is since he might some day find his way over here, but he's from Sweden too and he's blond and blue eyed. Anyways we got together as you might say, I was caught by his eyes and his personality. I've met him since we came home and I still feel something towards him but that's nothing compared to how I feel about my darling. So then at the end I heard that all of us four girls that went to Boston had screwed around so to say and obviously not everyone had liked it. So in the car back home we discussed it and we all laughed about it, but then later we all heard that they (YFU) were gonna send us home but then changed their minds. So that's one of a few things some of us won't forget......
