OPERA

Betty (Christina Marsillach) gets the leading role in a production of Verdi´s MacBeth after the first lady has been injured in a mysterious car accident. Late the same night betty and her boyfriend gets attacked by a crazy fan, and Betty are forced to witness the gruesome murder of her boyfriend. Betty and her Dressmaker finds a necklace and tries to find out the identity of the murderer in the operahouse climax.

Great mystery plot, effective blend of classical opera and heavy-metal music and great effects by Sergio Stivaletti. Superb close-ups and camera work by Ronnie Taylor.
