Dune 2
Dune 2 was Westwood's first realtime strategy game, in fact it was the first ever
made. It is based on the movie "Dune". The plot in the game (not the same as the movie)
is that three houses are fighting for control of the planet Arrakis aka "Dune".
The three houses are Atreidis, Ordos and Harkonnen.
The reason why the planet is such important is the spice that grows there
and that is your primary income source. You harvest spice instead of Tiberium.
The spice is not the only thing that lives there. There are also giant sandworms
which can eat a whole vehicle. They are attracted by vibrations, so if you are still
they can't get you. They can only travel in sand, you are safe on the rocks.
