Here I have collected a couple of neat mind-twisters for you. These
puzzles will force you to use your abilities in creative
thinking, an unfamiliar experience for many people...
 |
Puzzle no 1. In this puzzle, your goal
is to draw three lines, one from A to A, one from B to B and one from C
to C. None of the lines may cross any of the other lines, and you may not
pass outside the surrounding rectangle! There is an honest solution to
this problem, and if you can't manage the problem yourself, sneak-peek
on the answer here. |
 |
Puzzle no 2. What may seem an easy task
can be quite hard if you don't think in the right way. Your task for this
time is simply to make this mathematical expres- sion make sense, by drawing
only one single straight line! See the light? If you don't, be a cheater
and look here. |
 |
Puzzle no 3. Imagine holding a pen in your
hand. Place it on any of the nine dots, you choose which one. From this
dot, draw four straight lines without lifting the pen. When this
is done, you should have crossed every dot at least once. It is easy with
five lines. That is why I give you only four. In case you don't succeed
after some billion tries, glance at the solution here.

Puzzle no 4. One day, a woman found a broken
necklace in her attic. She thought that it would look good on her, so she
went to the goldsmith. "I'll charge you $5 for every ring I have to
cut", he said. "Oh, so I must pay $20 then", the woman answered.
"No, $15 is enough!", said the goldsmith with a curious grin
on his face. Can you solve this puzzle by naming the three rings which
must be cut up in order to form a complete necklace from these four parts?
Confused? Try again, and if you give up at last, look up the solution here.
